1972 De Tomaso Pantera blk Description

You are bidding on a super clean 17905mile 1972 Panteravin 3565.
The car was in the process of a paint Job and mild resto when the owner passed away. Car was originally red. It is painted a Burnt orange color. The paint job on it is pretty nice and the car is very straight. They did have some fish eyes on the tops of the hood, deck lid and roof. IMO it would be best if you were going to keep it this color to wet sand some more and rear clear the car to get rid of the imperfections.
This car came out of Florida and was always stored inside. This car is amazingly clean,rust free and by the looks of it and previous pantera ownership has seen very little moisture in its lifetime. While yes it is apart and in pieces, if you are looking for a Pantera to build as a resto mod, restore etc, it is nice that this car is apart so that you can see that it is not rusty and very clean. I've owned three Panteras and this is the most rust free and low mile car i have owned. My last two cars were a 85 gt5 and a 74 gts.The interior is in very nice shape. The drivers side seat does have some wear to the foampadding as thegentleman was a bigger guy. All the guts are installed in the doors and they latch and close very nicely. All the glass is in very nice shape just out of the car.The engine and transmission are there. The engine and transmission have never been apart. There is a new slave cylinder there for the clutch. Everything for the drive train is there minus what is listed below.
The only Itemsthat are missing forthe car is the Starter, Alternator, All the ac lines from the shifter back. The evap canister that mounts on the rear panel,E brake cables, carburatorand the brackets that hold the oem fans on as they planned on putting a fluidyne radiator in it and aftermarket fans. All these items are very easy to find. If you need me to find them for you before you pic the car up or have it shipped let me know.
The rear storage compartment did not make it in the 24 pictures. It does come with also.
I have a clean title for the car and the body engine tag, door jamb tag and emissions tag are off the car and with the title.
I have the car listed Locally as well and i reserve the right to end the auction at any time.I will only accept wire transferor cash for payment.I will put the motor and transaxle in the car for shipping purposes andI will also box all the parts for over seas shipping.Payment will be due with in 3 days of the auction ending. If you need more than 3 days please discuss that with me before the auction is over and if you need permission from anyone to bid other than your self please do not bid on it.Shipping is on the buyer. I can store that car for how ever long you need me to and i can assist with getting it loaded on a trailer.
