This neat custom Dodge Van was purchased new by an older gentleman from Hardy Vawho kept it under his carport out of the weather & drove it sparingly for camping trips keeping the mileage low. He sold it recently when the 727 AT transmission went out. I purchased it & had the transmission rebuilt by a professional shop earlier this year so she now runs & drives like new again.
Itwas ordered with many options: front disc brakes,11" brakes on the rear, air conditioning, tinted glass, swivel seats& more! The clear Virginia title in my name agrees it has just under 83K original miles. Dual exhaust pipes were added at some point & it gives the van a muscle car sound (see below to check out the YouTube video)! The alternator & belts were replaced recently. All lights, accessories, wipers, horn, gauges, etc. work. The chrome on the bumpers is very clean with no rust & both are completely straight! The body has a few light dings & small dents as shown in the photos & video.
The wheels are Cragar 17x8 & really help the van pop! Believe me the boring steel wheels with hubcaps wasn't doing the visuals any favors. These 17" wheels are the best since tires are not expensive (compared to the stock 15" tires) & they give it that street van look while still maintaining a stock ride. They are NOT unilug& havea 4 1/2" pattern that uses regular lug nuts. They are in very, very nice condition w/full chrome, no rust or pits& are alone worth a great deal. It comes with 4 nice tires that will NOT need replaced any time soon.
Inside all it really needs is carpet front & backto be really nice inside. The dash pad is near flawless, door panels are nice, gauges clean. Check out the custom stripes & aluminum ground effects! I believe the side door & matching right side window are factory options. There is a small sliding glass & screenat the bottom of bothso you can get some air flow as well as an opening rear vent & pop open tinted sunroof. Every piece of glass is intact & works well.
The brake light stays on all the time but I have no idea why, its probably the switch as the brakes work fine & always have, It has new front pads.A few push buttons are missing from the AC/heat switch so the air conditioning has not been tested & probably doesn't work. However it appears to have a new drier & lines so it may have been worked on recently. The heat & defroster buttons are there & those do work. It has no radiobut two speakers are installed behind the seats. The ash tray is missing. All doors open without issue & close/latch tight.
