This car started life in 1968 as a Coronet 440 with a 318ci engine in green. The car lived its entire life in Georgia and Alabama. As far as I can tell the quarters, floor and truck are all original. The fenders line up like original but very difficult to tell if they had been replaced. No rust anywhere on this car period. To give you more confidence on this car please look over my feedback. I have sold 3 cars in the past 2 years and every buyer was very happy.
This beautiful 440 was restored about 3 years ago and has been driven about 1000 miles since paint and rebuild. The 440 is a powerhouse. Very strong and tight. The motor has 1000 miles on the build and was broke in on a Dyno. To feed the beast there is a Barry Grant Demon 800cfm carb paired with a Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. The exhaust consists of Headman Headers paired with a full custom mandrel bent exhaust. Only Royal Purple oil was used since engine was built. the transmission is a built for performance 727 Torqueflight. It shifts nice and smooth but if you heavy foot at the hole it will chirp every gear. The car has Powersteering and manual drum brakes all around. The car stops great with little pedal effort. All four drums were completely rebuilt. The paint is a PPG Omaha Orange and it looks amazing combined with the satin bubblebee stripes and new black vinyl top. The 15inch wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich T/A tires are new. The tire sizes are 245 wide on the front and 275 on the rear. the rearend is a 8 3/4 case with 323 gears. This gearing is a great all around street performer. You get great gearing down low but if you want to get the highway and do 70MPH you are around 2500RPM.
All VIN plates and fender tag is in place. This is a great car for shows and cruising anywhere.
I have a 26ft enclosed trailer and could deliver for a fee. My distance limit is about 500 miles but cash talks. I have receipts from the build and a few pictures when the car was stripped down before paint.
