1964 Dodge Coronet 440
1964 Dodge Coronet 2 dr hardtop Description
This Coronet has just been completely restored.Paint, body and interior were just done this past summer. Interior was done by Ken Bell.Paint is bright white and is perfect. Tires, wheels, and hub caps are also brand new. Brand new stainless steel 3" exhaust. New drum brakesall around and work well. All stainless trim and chrome is either new or polished. Underside of car still retains original undercoating and isrust free. As is the trunk rust free. New gas tank and sending unit. Instrument cluster was sent out andrecalibrate and finished to perfection.Radio and heater delete. Allgauges and light work properly. NOTE: When pictures were taken, the drivers side door was not closed tightly. This way why it appears tohave a gap.
Engine is a 1966 440 out of a Dodge Charger. Transmission is an original 1964 out of this Coronet. Rear end is a 8.75 with a 3.23 sure grip. Engine andtransmission was rebuilt last year and has approximately 1000 miles on them. Max wedge intake and carb set up was bought fromA & A Transmission this summer and added to the car during reassembly. Max wedgeexhaust manifold were put on the car at the same time as the intakeassembly. They only have 47 miles on them. Starts, stops, and runs fine.
