1993 Dodge Ram 3500 Base Model Description

This truck run and drives but has the following issues;Excellent running 5.9 twelve Cummins. This is a 100 percent engine. I have owned 15 of these Cummins and this one was well maintained and always adult driven. I believe the mileage to be correct.Starts quick, oil pressure always in the middle of gauge. No engine oil leaks. Has small fuel leak on an external valve of the injector pump.Trans has internal leaking front pump seal. It takes a minute to build up pressure before the truck will move when it is cold. After that trans shifts okay but probably could use a rebuild. No external leaks on trans, fluid is red and clean.Front end is very loose and at the very least needs control arm bushings.. It does wander as you go down the road.
Front brakes and I believe rotors are fairly new. Truck stops very well.
No leaks on rear differential.
Tag says it has a 4.10 ratio. Fluid is full and fairly clean. Cover has been off, has red silicone instead old black that the factory would have used.
Truck weighs 6900 pounds.
Super heavy duty commercially made flatbed. Measures 8' by 9' feet within 18" extension added to it that is 6" lower than the rest of the bed. This 100 percent steel bed was made by Heil in Dixon CA in 1993. They also reinforced the frame as seen in pictures .
Has been a Nevada and California truck all its life. No rust cancer in cab. The inside of the floor under the drivers mat has Simon surface rust because the floor mat stayed wet from door seal leaks.
Door hinges are loose but doors open and close tightly. Hinges will need work.
Windshield has crack on passenger side.
Truck has working power steering withe no leaks.
Heater works.
Truck has never has air conditioning. The nice thing about this is that you can change the heater core on 10 minutes instead of 10 hours because the core is accessed from the engine compartment.
Front tires are fair. Back tires are poor and badly weather checked.
