This Car has been fullyprofessionally restored. As a solid Rust free car you will not find a better car as we all know most of these Chargers were destroyed from the Dukes of Hazzard, using 1968-70 Dodge Chargers. The undercarriage is beautifulmint condition. Never seen Snow, Stored in a locked and guarded facility. Absolutely Beautiful Beyond most other Dodge Chargers that I have seen for sale. Muscle cars like this one don't come along often here. Rebuilding and restoring a General Lee isn't just a paint job, it's going through the entire car to make the car dependable to drive. Present Appearance:The theme of this Dodge Charger R/T has the Appearance of a General Lee replica. All new General Lee Decals which came from the Series with medium Blue for the Flag and lettering. The zero ones are from the same kit as well. Of course is has the loudest Dixie horn available from Italy. The Car even has the Correct Large General Lee Style Push Bar which was professionally designed from a water Plasma Cutter, leaving the edges of the steel smooth. This Push bar has been powder Coated Semi Gloss Black. The Wheels are 15x7 in the front and 15x8-1/2 in the rear. The tires BF Good Rich TA are still in good shape with only 7900 miles. Wheels are the correct appearance for the General Lee theme. Also included are 4 original American Racing Center caps which are on the car. These wheels have been powder coated flat black and the edges were polished.
This car has been signed by the characters of the Dukes of Hazzard as well as follows: Enos- Sonny Schroyer, Daisy Duke-Catherine Bach, Cooter-Ben Jones. Yes even Bo Duke John Schneider. Thisappearance of thisGeneral Leeis above and beyond all close up cars seen on the Dukes of Hazzard. Built Right here in Western New York. This car is near mint. Turn key and drive like the Duke Boys. Just to clarify this car has never been used on the Dukes of Hazzard. This is not a Real General Lee produced by Warner Brothers Production. This is a General Lee Replica that I designed to the specs of a Car used on the Series. This is a real R/T according to the Vin code. Clear registration in hand.
Extra 1969 440 engine, 906 HP Cylinder Heads. Engine block Castings are dated 5/22/69. Block has been bored and ready to assemble. Rebuilt kit will be needed to complete this engine. This Engine is included with this deal.
There is a Boss CD/MP3 Radio installed in the car. The correct CB Radio Cobra 78 included, never installed due to professional paint job.
UPDATE: As the picture shows the frame with no tail pipe, they are a brand new NOS Tail Pipes just recently installed make this car sound even better than before. The exhaust is very quiet, but once you add the gas pedal it has a great sound just like an old mopar should. Still loads of power from this engine. By using a smaller carb, this car gets great gas mileage compared to a 750 Double pumper Edelbrock Carb.
The car will need the following which upon purchase, I will agree on sending the buyer brand new parts as the following: 3 speed Wiper motor on order, Heater register ducts-as I missed placed these-Removed them to dye to the color of the interior, Brand new duct and hoses on order. Never driven in the rain or at night!
If you have any questions, please contact me before bidding. I will provide pictures to the new owner for proof of the restoration as I took pictures to prove this car has been restored. Yes the Flag on the top of the roof is still on the car!
Society assumes negatively thoughts on what my General Lee stands for here in Western New York. This car has been in 2 local papers for appearing for Charity such as Breast Cancer, Mercy Flight (Saving lives by helicopters) Children's Hospital. Donations for M.S. & Cancer and also Meals of Wheels for disable and senior citizens of all races. Movie Star cars raise money throughout the United States to help people no matter who they are or their race. Without dreams, hope and faith of these Movie Car replicas, people would lose the childhood memories of the good shows they watched with their families in the past. Seeing a Movie Car Legend coming down the streets anywhere in the world, Brings excitement to everyone that really knows what this car stands for as taken care of Business, Helping others in the time of need, why would we as builders or owners want to stop helping with these charities? I know I will never stop, regardless of what society assumes without the facts. People in History fought for the Confederate flag to end Slavery, lets not forget the people that gave their lives for such a great cause. Furthermore, This flag stands for Charity to all. Now on with the auction.
Summary: The paint as you will notice in the pictures, even the trunk lid if you look real close you can see a mirror reflection of Tree branches in the reflection. This Car has a high glass mirror finish. Built professionally from ground up, no short cuts, wears it's original Sheet metal, especially the rear quarters. The only metal that has been replaced are the trunk pans. All other sheet metal is rust free. This is a California car, Clean, Flat and straight. The body lines are Crisp and straight. The car stands high as the suspension was rebuilt as mention in this auction. Over all this car in my opinion is 9-10 rating.

On Jul-09-16 at 13:02:44 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: For all the General Lee fans, Wheels are the correct old style they used on the series as these are not reproductions. Also the CB is the correct unit, never installed due to the mirror finish paint job as you can see the pictures in the auction. There is no Roll bar but you can easily make one and install it yourself.
Now lets talk about those Special General Lee Graphics, what's so special about decals? These decals were taken from a Real General Lee from the series of the Dukes of Hazzard. Warner Brothers could tell which cars were theirs by looking at the middle star that points to the drivers side. Guess what, I have that design, that's movie magic. The color of the flag and the letters on the roof are medium blue. These decals have a thin layer of clear film over top of the graphics to protect them from damage. The graphic also have automotive UV protectant in the ink to slow down the fading process. This car is never parked outside, always in the garage hiding from the public.
As far as the Large General Lee Push Bar, this is the correct dimensions as the one used on the show. It has a professional cut appearance with no sharp edges like you think you would find on a replica car. The Push bars are made right here in the U.S.A. This Push bar was brand new, then powdered coated with a high gloss black. I haven't spared any investment with this restoration of this 1969 Dodge Charger R/T. You could have the best of both worlds. With the prices of mopars rising every year, this maybe the best car you will ever have to buy in a muscle car as we all know the Confederate flag is on this car as I don't bow to the society of which they don't understand! So hope this enlightens everyone in the General Lee world. Just remember don't let this one slip by for the bidder that may just turn it back into a plain every day R/T.
Very important, Payment must be CASH.
I have had trade and cash offers, but turned them down. Not looking to sell a car for another car purchase. Thanks for looking..
