Very Rare-
- A popular Dodge Truck website cites: "only 3,606 made in the Los Angeles, CA Dodge Factory" from 1936 to 1938 . . . This style of Humpback Panel Truck was only made for 3 years (1936-1938) as Dodge's answer for more cargo room without increasing the wheelbase (vs. flat-topped Ford & Chevy panel trucks that had a longer 121" wheelbase which were harder to drive). 3rd owner. Original owner was the state painter for Walla Walla Prison in Washington state. Thus low mileage and very little rust since it was used for painting.... this reference is in regards to how these trucks mostly succumbed to cancerous rust because commonly 2 bales of hay were placed like a wall behind the front seats, then the rear cargo area loaded with blocks of ice for the day's deliveries of meat, produce, flowers, etc. However as a painter's truck it was saved from this cancerous fate.
