1972 Dodge D200 Survivor Original 2WD Low Miles
1972 Dodge Other Pickups Adventurer Camper D200 Description
I have a real nice piece of Mopar history up for sale! A1972 Dodge D200 Standard cab long bed truck. Original truck. Never modified or restored. Very solid body and under body. This is a 90K plus original mile truck. Nebraska title will read "EXEMPT". Awesome options! Read on!
I found this truck in rural Nebraska. It has always been a local farming community truck that has never seen harsh salt / Chemical infested city streets. It's all original and it runs and drives great...but it is 45 years old!
This truck is powered by it's 400 V8 2 barrel engine and Automatic 3 speed "LoadFlite" Transmission. It has the Anti Spin rear end, and front disc brakes per the options tag sticker on the bottom side of the hood. See picture.
It appears to retain all it's original paint! Sun beaten hood and a little more sun / age paint damage here and there. There is no filler or patch work what so ever that I can see, however I am no bodyman. But I'm confident it's all original. There is very minimal rust. See pictures. The body is straight and solid. A scratch, nick, ding, dent, etc here and there. Certainly not perfect but very nice well kept survivor! It needs a good buffing. Very straight body!! The under body is solid and looks to have been undercoated. The front grill, bumper, rear tail gate and rear bumper are in killer condition! See pictures! I have the D- O -D -G- E lettering that goes on the front of the hood. There may be a letter missing though. They're in the glove box. See Pictures.
The interior is well above average. The seat is in A1 Shape. Looks to be original. The door panels are nice, the dash pad if fine. The interior ceiling paint is outstanding. The rubber floor is present and in acceptable shape. No rust in the doors, Cab is solid! The CB radio in the picture is junk. See pictures.
This truck has Power steering and brakes. Air Conditioning, Cruise Control,. AM FM Radio. Gauge package and clock. Most of these options are present but need repaired. I'm thinking maybe a wiring harness. My 70 Roadrunner was the same and the under hood harness fixed it.Horn works lights heater fan etc. Although she is in good shape, it's not without it share of needing things fixed. Please look for my photo of the options sticker. This truck is well equipped.
This truck runs drives stops steers excellently! A very tight, solid truck. The water pump / hose drips a bit? The exhaust is noisy up front, I'm thinking exhaust manifold gasket. Tires are in great shape. After market hub caps. The wheels are an aftermarket steel wheel. I would drive this truck locally anywhere. But long distance interstate driving would probably not be a good idea. It is 45 years old. I have the original mirrors, they will be included in the sale. The holes are drilled for them. I just took them off due to manuvering around the garage.
I hold a Nebraska resale dealer permit to fund my hobby of old Mopars. "Superior" Auto 4521 South 88th in Omaha Ne. 68127. This is not my sole source of income. It's a hobby. The title is a Nebraska title and all paperwork will be done to Ne. law.
My Ebay feedback is 100% Positive. I get a bit windy in my descriptions, but I want there to be no misunderstanding once you receive the truck. Dealing on the World Wide Web is scary. So rest assured, if you see my past comments, my descriptions are consistently accurate. I'm a real person and available for comment.
This truck is, of coarse, sold as is. You are welcome to inspect the truck or have someone look at it for you. Just give me notice. Negative, low (under 5), or 0 Feedback members must CONTACT ME PRIOR to bidding. Or I will cancel your bid. Transportation is the responsibility of the winning bidder. The truck is in an industrial area with plenty of room to load on a transport truck. I'm about a mile off Interstate 80. I'm in Omaha Nebraska.
Over all this truck is in great shape. It is a bit of a fixer upper but what a heck of a nice start. The patina on it is what guys like now days! So maybe buff it out clear coat it and enjoy! I think a buff would make it look like an entirely different truck. My garage is full right now. This is the reason for sale. I'm more of a B Body guy. But when I seen how solid this truck was, I had to have it. If you have any questions call me at 402 733 7760. Thanks and good luck! 402 733 7760
