1972 Dodge Other Description

Up for auction is a 1972 Dodge Demon. The car is yellow in color with black accents. The interior is black as well. This car has a classic look with the cragar SS wheels, a ground pounding small block Mopar engine backed up by a 4-speed manual transmission. The car sounds mean and is a blast to drive. It's a real head turned.
The paint on the car is nice and shows really well. It's no show car job, but its definetly a nice driver. The only defect I can find in the paint is a small crack in the black on the trunk panel, I've disclosed it in the photos.
The interior is nice, not perfect, but nice. The arm rests on the door panels could use dyed. The seats are nice, carpet is nice, headliner, etc. Its got a center console with a hurst shifter. There is a tach mounted on the consolr but its not hooked up. The car must have been an import, it has a 200+ speedo but I assume that's supposed to be kilometers?
Under the hood is nice, just your basic chrome air cleaner and valve covers. The engine has a new cam in it that hits a nice lick, edelbrock aluminum intake. I haven't ran the numbers, but I'd assume its probably a 318? The car has 340 badges but I assume its not.
The car has a fuel cell in the back. It appears to be a very nice install.
The car sounds mean, it has new single chamber flowmasters on it.
The cragers have a little rust on them, I haven't tried to polish it off. The mirrors are not on the car but are in the back seat.
I assume at one time or another the car was stolen or at least the vin was. It was a reassigned vin by the NC Highway Patrol. The title matches the new vin. The fender tag is gone and with the vin gone, there is no way to confirm or deny if this was a real "Demon" or not.
The car is as is, where is. Feel free to come look before you bid. A deposit is due within 48 hours. Full payment must be made with in 7 days. I can work to assist a shipper and will hold the car for a few weeks as long as full payment has been made.
