Up for sale we have a 1969 Dodge Charger RT. This is a true RT car that features the Matching Numbers 440 and 4 Speed Trans. This car has been signed by Mr. Norm of the Grand Spalding Dodge and we were told that's where this car came from. It's a factory Black Car with Black Interior and the Pistol Grip Shifter. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Dodge, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this Charger. Down the sides the panels are straight with good lines. Everything is covered in Black that is accented by the Matte Black RT stripe. The paint has a deep rich shine that shows very well in the jams. Under the hood and in the trunk also all looks good and is painted correct. The grill on this RT is in very good condition along with the bumpers and trim. All the glass is also in good condition. The weather stripping appears to have been replaced at the time of the repaint. To complete the look this Charger is sitting on a set of Magnum 500 Wheels with a set of BFG White Letter Tires.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the RT. On the inside it's done in all black with the correct bucket seats and console with the Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter. The seats, door panels, and carpet all look very. The dash has the gauge pack that has the tic toc tacha dn the 150 MPH Speedo. As you can see the dash pad is signed by Mr. Norm. Also, you'll see it has a Wood Wheel to match the woodgrain in the console.
Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Dodge. Under the hood it all looks correct with the firewall and inner fenders being painted body color. The engine is the Numbers Matching 440 that is mated to the Numbers Matching 4 Speed Trans. This Charger has the engine painted in the correct orange with the factory valve covers and breather. It retains the manifolds with dual exhaust. The power is put to the ground via the Sure Grip Dana 60 Rear End. This RT has factory Power steering and when you look under it everything looks solid and is done factory under coating that was used in the '60's.
