“BESSIE”
1953 Dodge 1/2 Ton B Series Pilothouse Truck
Here’s your opportunity to own a rare 1953 Hemi powered Dodge truck. This classic has sat much of the last 50 years passing time in a southern Illinois field. With a patina all it’s own this truck brings the "just pulled out of the field” appearance together with a modern era 5.7 Hemi tucked under the hood with a rumble you hear before you see it.
Cradled on an s-10 chassis the stance of this truck sets itself apart. No lowering spindles were used in the front, with only a 1” lowering block in the rear giving this truck an excellent ride quality.
2013 Dodge Ram Hemi 400 HP motor, 5 Speed automatic, 28,000 miles, 373 Posi rear end, sitting on a 1980’s S-10 frame coated with flexible bed liner coating.

Thanks for all the questions.
It is not clear coated, I would clear coat it if someone wanted it done. The gas tank is no longer behind the seat the rag is stuck in the last few inches of the fill neck that I spot welded into place.Does not leak any fluid of any type and all fluids are fresh from rear end to radiator.Again, thanks for all the questions.
I can store it for awhile less than 30 days as long as it paid for. It drives down the highway very nice and smooth at 75mph. These era trucks had small cabs, I'm 6' and 215lbs and I find it comfortable to drive. The truck does not have windshield wipers removed due to cramped space at center of firewall. I can't do any trades at this point. The worst of the rust on the truck is at the top edge of the front nose. Sheet metal was welded on the back side to keep the integrity of the part but still shows ratty.
