1947 Dodge 7 Passenger Limo Style, 3rd Owner, 67,000 Miles, Always Garaged,
1947 Dodge Other Description
We are the Third Owners of our Dodge. Bought it out of Winnipeg Manitoba last year.It had limited usecommercially it's lifetime until we bought it (funerals and weddings). Always well maintained. Always garaged. 5 years ago it got the new wide white Firestone tires which cost $2100 including heavy tubes and painting of the wheels. 4 years ago the Dodge received a complete brake job including lines which cost over $3,000. About 50% of the paint appears original. Last owner said there was some paint work done in the 70'S do to vandalism. Has the original flathead six with the fluid drive set-up. Runs very good, shifts very good. Goes down the road decent, stops good. Body is very solid with very little rust. Rockers are very solid. Trunk and back floors are solid. Front floors where your feet go have rust. Drivers side is pretty solid but to fix the passenger side right it should have a replacement floor pan (they are available reasonable). Under front seat is solid. Body mounts under car are solid. I have the original Manitoba license plate from 1947. All gauges work. Turn signals work. Will need exhaust. Dodge has appeared in a couple movies over it's life time. There were only a little over 1700 of this model produced in 1947. We have a clear Minnesota title in our name that matches the VIN on the car. I listed 24 pictures. I will gladly take other pictures if needed. I try and describe my vehicles as well as I can. Please ask questions as I want this transaction to go well. Thank you for viewing our old Dodge
