This is a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible, Time capsule . This is a very clean original Mopar B Body convertible. This is a Solid West Texas car. It has been in storage for several years, before that it has been owned by the same family since it was new.
The Coronet still has its Original Pain, original sheet meta, to, Upholstery and motor and transmission. This Car has straight Clean lines . The exterior of the coronet is nearly rust free, only minor surface rust. There is one dent on the front of the driver’s side lower quarter panel. The Hood Trunk and doors open and close smoothly. All of the glass is in very good condition. The Grill is in Excellent condition and the Bumpers are straight. Trunk floor looks OK it may need some minor repair. Inside the Coronet the floor pans have a few hole, I believe they could be repaired without replacement ( please see Photos) .
The interior is complet, An original Bucket seat Center console car. The seats Could usenew upholstery but it seems the foam is still in good condition. The Dash looks good and is complete and unmolested The dash pad is in good condition. The top assembly looks good. We have not tried to put the top down for fear of damaging what is left of the canvas. This is a Factory Air conditioned ca, Air conditioning for a 66 Convertible is not very common.
Under the Hood is the Original 318 poly. The motor started and ran from a gas can last time we tried. It moved under its own power but The Brakes are not working at this time and the Emergency brake was used to stop the car.
The Coronet has it’s fender tag and Certicard. All of the Original air condition hardware is still intact.
Overall this is a Great unmolested original car. It would not take much to make this a Great daily driver.
This is one of only 1500 66 Coronet 500 318 Convertibles built.

PAYMENT INFORMATION: The car is sold as is, no warranty implied or offered. The successful bidder is required to send a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the end of auction via PayPal (other methods may be used if discussed and agreed upon prior to bidding!). If you are not able or willing to meet these criteria, please do not bid until you have discussed options with me. The balance of the auction is due in full within 7 days of the end of the auction. I prefer PayPal (for the deposit ONLY) and an electronic funds transfer for the balance. I will not accept PayPal for payment of the balance except under special circumstances that must be agreed on prior to bidding. I’ll accept other forms of payment such as certified bank check or cashier’s check for the balance, but all funds must clear my bank prior to release of the car. I would like the car picked up within 15 days of the end of the auction. The buyer is solely responsible for arranging the pickup of the car.
ZERO (0) FEEDBACK AND NON-U.S. BIDDERS: If you are a zero (0) feedback bidder or a non-U.S. bidder youMUSTcontact me before bidding. I will cancel the bid of any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder that does not contact me prior to bidding. I will require any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder to provide me with a verifiable physical address and contact information prior to bidding. I realize we were all zero feedback bidders at some point, but unfortunately zero feedback bidders are often also non-paying bidders on automobile auctions.
BIDDER CONFIDENCE: I strive for the most transparent auction possible. As a bidder, you can be confident that the vehicle you are bidding on is described to the best of my ability. I am always happy to provide any perspective bidder my contact information if they wish to speak directly with me on the telephone about the vehicle. If within driving distance, a perspective bidder is welcome to come see the car in person prior to bidding. I am happy and willing to take any reasonable actions (i.e. additional pictures, telephone conversation, in-person viewing of car prior to conclusion of the auction, etc.) to give the bidder confidence that the vehicle being auctioned is indeed in my possession, for sale, and has been described as accurately as I am able. I will conduct myself in a professional manner throughout the auction process and I will be a prompt communicator via email, telephone or text message.
Thank You
