1974 Dodge Dart Description

This is a Dodge Demon Recreation...it was originally a Duster.
This Mopar is IMMACUALATE ! The time, effort and materials was put into this car to build it as a Real Demon.You do not need to trailer this one, drive it anywhere.
To start with the body of this car was mint. It was garage kept and out of the weather. Original Floors, Trunk Floor, Quarter panels, fenders and hood. This is a Metal car not a bondo bucket.It would take me 8 pages to list all of this so I am going to try and compile it all into this ad.
Engine. It is a low mile solid built 360 . It is .030 over and has KB 10:1 compression pistons. Block has brass freeze plugs. The block was milled .008
The cam is a LunatiSolid Flat Tappet Cam. Good cam for hot street or mild bracket racing with 340-360 c.i. motors. Lopey idle.

Timing Chain and gears are a Milodon True Roller set.
Heads are "894" with 2.02 Intake and 1.60 Exhaust Valves. 3 angle grind on the heads with Bronze Guides, Teflon stem seals and H.D. Valve locks. Heads are ported. (I have all the receipts from the machine shop to show exactly what has been done to this 360)Intake manifold is a high polished Edelbrock with a 650 Double Pump Holley sitting on it.
Ignition is Mopar Performance Electronic.
Cooling system is done through a Champion 3 row aluminum radiator and the water flow is by aMopar Performance P5249558K Aluminum Water Pump Kit 1970-Up SB-Mopar 6-Blade impeller.
Engine it tied to a Mopar A-833 4 Speed Tranny with a CenterForce Bell Housing and Clutch. Shifter is a Hurst Super Street model.
That links into a 8 3/4 Sure Grip rear end with a 4.11 Ratio. The meat on the car are Brand New B.F. Goodrich T/A Radials, 295/50/15 in the rear and 205/60/15 on the front. They are mounted in Brand new Weld Racing Wheels.Suspension system has Mopar Performance Leaf Springs and has the US Body leaf spring relocation kit to accommodate the 10" rear wheels. Uni Body is tied together with subframe connectors.
Exhaust is through Dougs D 453 Metallic Ceramic Coated Headers going into a 2 1/2 inch exhaust system through flowmaster mufflers.
Brake system is a Front disc and is ALL Completely new from end to end. Steering system is new, ( Ball Joints, Tie Rods, Idler Arm, control arm bushings)
This is a A/C Car and it works great.
Interior is re-done with Legendary Interiors Black seats, Black Dash pad, carpet & Headliner.All New Metro Weather strips, New Trunk Mat and it still has the original mint bumper jack. Dome light and all Gauges work. New Autometer liquid filled Temp and Oil Pressure Gauges are installed for dead accurate readings.Stereo is a Alpine AM/FM/CD with removable head and Alpine speakers.
Rear Spoiler is the Mopar "Go-Wing" and front scoops are factory originals.Car is painted C7 Plum Crazy Purple (PPG Paint) base coat clear coat and is immaculate.Black Vinyl Top is from Legendary interiors.
All the chrome and trim is undamaged and shines like brand new.
EVERYTHING on this Demon works. Door open and close with ease, windows roll up and down smoothly...this is about like buying this car brand new in 74.
