1948 Dodge Club Coupe (RARE) 83,853 Miles Blue 2 Door Coupe 6CYL Manual
1948 Dodge Club Coupe (RARE) Description
Hello to all eBayers!
I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I’m liquidating my collection since I’m selling my warehouse.
Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the right place!... I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. I bought this vehicle with the intention of bringing it to California to add to my collection.
This 1948 DODGE is located in a Copart facility in JACKSONVILLE, FL. I tried to sell it on Copart, but this vehicle is a classic clean vehicle, and this auction yard is not the best place to sell it.
This vehicle has a clear FLORIDA Title. If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.
1948 Dodge Custom Club Coupe Fluid-Drive
The Dodge Custom is a full-size car which was produced by Dodge in the United States from 1946 to early 1949. All models were powered by a 230 cui inline six cylinder engine. A three-speed manual transmission was standard whilst a "Fluid Drive" option provided "no metal-to-metal contact between the power source and drive".
Now take a look at this marvelous Dodge! Back in 1948, it was considered a factory “Hot Road”.
Mechanical
The car has 87,790 actual miles and it is a very original classic. It drives well and starts all the time. The engine does not smoke. It drives great and shifts smoothly. The car has 3 speed (Fluid-Drive). New 8-volt battery has been installed, and the voltage regulator has been adjusted. The carburetor is rebuilt. It also has a new starter, new master cylinder, new fuel pump, new wires, plugs, rotor and a cap. Car has new wheel cylinders (6) and the drums were all cut.
So the car runs and drives very well.
Exterior
The Exterior is presentable and good enough to cruise around town, but has touch-ups and a few spots that could use work. Overall it looks great (remember it is 70 years old). Back in 1948 it looked like a factory Hot Rod.
Interior
It has a nice and clean interior. The cloth looks fine, the headliner is clean and presentable.
The dash is all there. All the gauges work, except for the turn signals and the fuel gauge, but can be fixed easily.
Overall, it is a nice classic to own.
Please note, I want to make sure that you are absolutely satisfied with your purchase. I’m saying this because I’ve had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered! If you are buying and paying for this classic, please contact your transporter after vehicle is picked up and within 2 hours please give me a positive feedback!
This is your chance to own a great classic at a great price!
