THIS CALIFORNIA NATIVE 1970 ALL ORIGINAL DODGE POLARA WAS A GARAGED KEEP CAR WHEN IT WAS BOUGHT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. THIS DODGE IS BONE STOCK AND IS A TRUE SURVIVOR CAR. THE CAR WAS PUT AWAY SOME TIME BACK BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND WAS PUT BACK ON THE ROAD LAST YEAR. THE OPTIONS FROM THE FACTORY ARE 383 2 BARREL 290 HP MOTOR, POWER BRAKES, POWER STEERING, LIGHT GOLD METALLIC EXTERIOR PAINT, SHAMPAGNE VINYL TOP, GOLD INTERIOR, TINTED GLASS, LOWER WIDE SIDE MOLDINGS, BLACK PROTECTION SIDE MOLDINGS, AIR CONDITIONING.

THE BODY-The body on this Polara is in super condition and this dodge is a dryrust free car with astraight body and the original paint. The factory floor pans are in like new condition and are solid with no rust or surface rust, They look great. The original tunnel and fire wall are in great condition and the original paint on the fire wall is in good condition. The trunk pan is also in super condition and the original trunk pan gold paint is also in good survivor condition. The original zolatone / splatter paint inside the trunk is in good survivor condition, it looks great. Both of the original quarter panels arein great survivor condition with no signs of rust or patches. When you look down both sides of the quarters they are straight. Both of the inner rear wheel tubs are solid and are in great condition.Both the doors are rust free and are in super condition and do not show any signs of ever being patched or tampered with. Both sides of the door hinges are in great condition and the doors do not sag, they both shut like new. Both the front fenders are in great condition and are rust free and show no signs of being patched or tampered with. Both the front inner fender wells are also rust free and are super clean. The radar supportis also rust free and shows no signs of being tampered with. The original inner and outer rocker panels are in great condition and there are no sings of damage or rust. The roof is in great condition and there are no signs of rust bubbles under the original vinyl top. The windshield area and the back window area are also in great condition with no signs of bubbles or rust. The rain gutters are also in great condition. The original vinyl top color is champagne and the top is in good survivor condition. The original hood and deck lid are in great condition and all of the original hinges are in great condition. The interior metal dash and vin tag are in great dry condition and there are no signs of the windshield ever leaking. All of the body panels are original to the car and the body gaps throughout the car are what you would expect from dodge when you bought the car new. Over all the body on this dodge Polara is in great original condition.

THE PAINT- The color on this Polara is light gold metallic and the paint is original to the car.The overall condition of the original paint on the car is impressivewith only a few small chips here and there and a few faint scratches on the rear deck lid. The original paint holds a nice shine and looks good up-close. The original door jam paint and the interior door paint is in great survivor condition. There is no road rash on the lower portion of the car and the lower rocker moldings look great with little to no road rash. The wheel well moldings are the same. The front of the hood is not rock chipped and it tells the story that this car was not used muchover time. Overall for being a 1970 the paint is in good condition.

THE INTERIOR- The original dash pad is in great condition with no cracks or blisters, it looks good. The original dash bezel and the instruments are clean and the needles are nice and bright. The original door panels are in great condition, they look good. The original carpet is not worn out or thin but is lightly discolored in some spots. The original Head liner is in great condition along with the original sun visors. The rear package tray is also in good condition. The original seats cloth sections show some light wear on the driver front and some light imperfections due to age and time. The seats gold vinyl material is in good condition. The original steering wheel and steering column are in great original condition. The original AM radio is in great looking condition and will turn on but the speaker is not working. The felts and rubbers through the car are also original and are in great condition. Over all this interior in this dodge is clean and in good original condition for its age.

THE BRIGHT WORK - THIS IS A SUPER DRY POLARA THAT DID NOT SEE MUCH MOISTURE AT ALL. When you look at the original turn signal arm, the shifter arm, the back side of the rear view mirror, inner door handles, outer door handles, rear bumper and all the rest of the inner and outer chrome it is all in good original condition without pitting or rusting. The front and back window stainless is original to the car and look great. The tail light lenses, the original grill and the original headlights are all in great condition.

THE MOTOR- This Polara is equipped the original factory 290 HP 383 motor that is a good runner with good power. This motor does not leak or smoke. this 383 is a great sounding motor that is dependable. Under the hood of this Polara is all original.

THE TRANS AND REAR END- The original3 speed automatic trans shifts great and this transmissions does not leak. The original rear end is in good condition and still has its original paint markings. This is a nice tight rear end that does not clunk or howl or leak. When you drop this car in to gear there is no universal joint clunks or noises. This is a great driving car.

THE HISTORY AND OVER ALL- This Polara was sold new in Northern California and still has the original blue California license plates.This Polara has always been in dry storage and was bought from the original owner. When the car was purchased it still had all of the original Goodyear double line white wall tires but they had flat spots and they were replaced with new tires. At the time of purchase the car received new plugs, new cap, rotor and points, new water pump, new fuel pump, new master cylinder, new gas tank and sending unit, new tires. The car is in good running and driving condition and the miles look to be original to the car. The original rims and hubcaps are in super condition. The original dealers brochure and the owner’s manual are also in great condition. The drivers door vin sticker, the door jamb tire air pressure sticker, the jack instructions sticker and the motor bay stickers are all intact and legible. In the trunk is all of the original hardware and the spare tire. This dodge is equipped with the original shocks and the original exhaust. All the electrical in the car is in good working order except the fuel gauge does not always work and the fuel tank and sending unit were both replaced in the car. The original air conditioning as all intact but the charge is flat and the heater control valve will need to be replaced. When you look at the underside of this car it is super clean and rust free and the original paint markings are still legible. The undercarriage is not dirty or greasy and the original blue paint on the oil pan is intact and in good original condition. This is a super clean original car that is a hard one to find in this condition with a low reserve.
