1970 Dodge Charger R/T Description

1970 Dodge Charger R/T

Here’s a rare opportunity to buy a rare and special Mopar, Parked in 1979 (When it was only 9 years old!!!) Only 90,248 miles on the odometer! This Charger is still wearing its original Y3 Cream paint, (1 of only 84 in this color) originally sold in Phoenix, AZ. It still has the original dealer sticker on the deck lid! All original body panels, Numbers matching 440 Magnum engine, the original automatic transmission was changed in the 70’s to a 4 speed (out of a 1969) and they added headers, but otherwise it’s very complete and original. Still has its fender tag, and Broadcast sheet.

Car was parked in 1979, I believe because of some melted wiring on the engine harness, it is NOT running or driving, I did turn over the engine by hand, and it does turn over, the original carburetor is included, but was taken apart long ago, and is likely missing pieces, as was the A/C compressor, however both are included. Aside from that, what you see is what you get, they are only original once, I don’t think you’ll find another un-restored Charger R/T! Car does have some rust issues, (like nearly all Chargers) The roof has some small holes from the vinyl top, there’s is some small holes below the rear window, the trunk floor is pretty rusty, and there’s some in the left lower rear quarter panel, The floors all look and feel solid, as do the frame rails, and torsion supports. The Car was sold new in AZ, spent time in El Paso Texas, and has been in So Cal the last 7 years. I have a Clean Texas Title for the car, as well as its last registration slips from 1979.

Also, I have a new pair of reproduction arm rests that are included, and car will have all 4 of the magnum 500 style rims back on it (Centerline wheel on the front not included)

Car is for sale locally as well, I reserve the right to end auction early if it sells. Sold as-is, Buyer to pick up from Hemet, CA 92544. Please ask any questions, buyers are welcomed to inspect vehicle if possible.
