1968 Dodge Charger rt Description

This was a southern Viginia car and was almost rust free . During body and paint we only had to replace the trunk extensions and I chose to do the rear valance because it was bent up a bit. The trunk floor has some pin holes and we opted to leave it alone. The floors were spotless.Engine and drivetrainStroked 400 low deck to 512 ci.All forged bullet proof rotating assembly built by muscle motors .Hughes fully cnc'd rpm Edelbrock headsHughes custom camHughes adjustable rockersHughes cool face solid liftersQuick fuel 950 carb11.1 compressionTTI ceramic 2" primary headersTTI full exhaust system and tipsA&A built 727 torqueflight transShumacher poly loc motor mountsCustom built Dana 60 with eaton trutrac diff and 3.73 gears.Wilwood 14" 6 piston up front & 11" rearBilstein adjustable shocksHotchkis subframe connectors and rear leaf springs ( 2" drop)Magnum force 2" drop front spindlesWizzard cooling aluminum radTuff stuff 1 wire alternatorAll new glassMike's tanks rear sump fuel tank ( uses factory filler)Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump and systemAll original stainless professionally polishedNew headliner and vinyl topCompletely restored gauge cluster and dash bezelNew carpet, seat covers and door panelsRedyed dash pads and arm rests. The grill has not been restored and has 2 small holes drilled in it where someone had driving lights there. Grill is in very good condition.Vacuum headlights work properly .All factory gauges work properly.Boze custom 3 piece forged 18" wheels with nitto 305/40/18 NT555R rearsExhaust has electric cutoutsWe took this car to the track last year to see what it would do in the 1/4 and it runs a high 10 and low 11 with pump gas and drag radials. It's only made about 4 passes. I didn't build it to drag race. It has been something my family enjoyed taking to car shows and cruising. It's very daily driver friendly and can be driven with 93 pump has but likes race gas as well. The engine bay is still the original paint color. This was originally a QQ1 blue RT with black vinyl top and white bumble bee stripe. It's now painted Dodge viper GTS blue . This is a very fun and fast car . I had no plans on selling it until recently due to another baby on the way and only had it out 4 times all last year . I don't have any better pics right now because the car is put away for winter and I wasn't planning on selling it .If someone is serious I will get the car out and take some better pics .
