1969 Dodge Dart Hemi - YouTube

[isdntekvideo]You are viewing for sale, what is believed to be a very rare, Hurst built 1969 Dodge Dart Hemi. Apparently, Dodge took five, 1969 340 Darts (hence the 1969, 340 VIN) over to Hurst to have them converted to SS/AA drag cars. The modifications were similar to the 1968 SS/AA Cuda’s and Darts, including modified wheel wells, 426 Race Hemi engines, and Dana 60 rear differentials.
After doing some research, it appears that this particular car (Hocus Pocus) was owned by one of the key engineers at Chrysler when dealer sponsored and factory backed super stock drag racing teams were going to drag strips having performance clinics, in the late 1960’s.
Current owner has made many improvements on the Dart to make it ‘street legal’. The 426 Hemi is a date coded 1968 block (not sure if it is the original engine) with an original magnesium cross ram intake manifold (very rare). Gauge panel was added as well as modified side bars for the roll bar. New seats were added, but the rear seat is original. Car was recently tuned up and had carburetors rebuilt. Owner has receipts for all the work performed.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 15 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 7 years ago I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car. They just want someone to sell it!!
