Up for auction is a very rare 1926 Dodge Brothers Sedan Rat Rod just recently completed.
The previous owner said everything was dipped other than the rear doors. Body has nice patina. Can’t find any rot or even any dents. It has not had any body work. It has been sitting in a garage for over 25 years
It is now sitting on a 1937 Dodge chassis that has been narrowed 4 inches. The body has been channeled 4.5 inches.
The power comes from a 1969 302 with 2-barrel carb. The C-4 automatic transmission is from 1977. It has an earlier 8-inch Ford rear-end. The engine runs great. No leaking or smoking. Drop axel up front.
Here is a partial list of all the new stuff installed in:
Drive shaft
Aluminum radiator
Steely wheels with Coker Classic tires.
GM disc brakes up front
Master cylinder and brake lines
Gas lines and electric fuel pump
Water pump
Solenoid
Distributor
Door handles
Hot rod mirrors
Switches
Battery
And a whole lot more.
The Bomber Seats are from the great people at Iron Ace. The custom fitted rear seat is a modified trunk deck from a 1954 Chevy Belair. It is hinged to flip forward to provide a little storage and space for the battery. New seat cushions from Iron Ace are still in the box.
Just received the new brake lights to be recess mounted in the round holes in the rear valance. Will add picture when completed.
We also have all the glass and the trim/garnish moldings. Didn’t install in case you wanted it wide open.
Car is still titled as a 1926 Dodge Brothers Sedan.
