1966 Dodge Charger Premium Description

Up for auction is a complete 1966 Charger with premium package.
General description:Car is a survivor running and drivable with 82500 original miles. Engine runs well and does not smoke at all. Transmission is an automatic 3 speed and shifts properly through all gears and reverse. All glass, trim and rubber Are original. Floorboards are 90% solid with the exception of the drivers side front and under the spare tire, each has a small repair. Torque tubes and adjacent frame are solid with the exception of only the outer extension of the right side. Interior is complete less one door pull (drivers door). Dash board and gauges are functioning and complete. Floor shifter operates smoothly. Hideaway headlights are completely intact. Car has factory air which was partially removed, but still have the original compressor and plumbing that was under the hood.Hubcaps are original.

Body:Overall the body is presentable with latches & locks functioning. Car is weather tight as rubber seals are in place and windows operate. The entire body was repainted some time ago, but no previous accident damage was observed to the structure, frame, rockers, front & rear panels. The chrome bumpers have only surface corrosion and are fully restorable with minimal effort. The front fenders are in very good condition as are the rockers. Both doors and rear quarter panels have rust that has been repaired and has rusted through along the bottoms. There is also some rust through along the upper part of the firewall. Overall the body is very straight and a great candidate for restoration.
