1973 Dodge Dart Mopar muscle car with a Clear Title in Ohio
1973 Dodge Dart Description
CAR HAS AN OHIO CLEAR TITL, and its the best offer after listing is over so if you want it shoot me a serious offer: Best Offers Now Considered!!!
FROM pictures of the car, you can tell its in pretty good shape. Has had work done to car over the years. It got a manual transmission and an aftermarket sunroof, and a paint job in 1992. If you don't like the sunroof or the manual transmission find a stick shift and take out the sunroof, and weld a piece of metal and paint it back to factory green. Frames in good shape no major rust repair needed, just surface as expected from a west coast car. Car was a western usa car so minor rust repair is needed on the body. Needs a drivers side floor plan, pretty easy fix. May need minor other areas repaired, but not much. Dash is in pretty good shape also. when I bought the car there was smoke coming from the steering column for a few seconds, but drove fine for 1 hour. My father who was a Army military mechanic for 20 years, and thereafter for another 30 before he retired, said its just a wire that needs repaired in the steering column. and that its an easy fix for someone who knows about mechanics. Wont have to do too much work on this beauty. Overall its solid. Nice rims, cool ride. needs a driver side mirror, easy fix. Needs minor work here and there. Nothing major it appears. Light body work, drivers floor pan, bolting in of the front seats that just sitting in it, seats etc...cars in good shape for its age. Dad estimated that not much is needed to complete any type of restoration because the dash is in good shape interior and exterior, along with the engine and transmission and mechanics being in good shape. Brakes worked fine when I bought the car but pedal was a little stiff. Lines were fine, no leaks it appeared. Car has an auto transmission now but use to have a stick shift and there's an extra pedal in the car that needs to be removed if you don't want it there from the conversion to auto. Expect some minor fixes here and there on the car. Engine and transmission are strong.
History of the car:
The original owner of the car was a Vietnam vet. The car was driven for many years and shown across the country as hobby and up until he passed away. The owner owned the car for many years and restored car partially, cosmetics etc, around 1992, but when he later died, a local car lot bought the car from the family. The Car lot went out of business a few years later, and I bought the car from a person who bought the car from the car lot that went out of business. The car is titled now in Ohio. Mileage is a little below 60,000 original miles. Car was registered in Colorado before I bought it. I have bad health and a bad back injury and my father is too old now to help me, so I am forced to now sell it because I can't fix stuff anymore. I really am sad to part ways with it. I'll remember driving this car for the rest of my life. What a classic it is.
