1957 Dodge Other Pickups Description

1957 DODGE 1/2 TON STEP SIDE PICKUP Truck has been upgraded to torsion bar front suspension from dodge diplomat and now has dual master power disc front brakes, rear drum brakes, torsion bar front suspension, power steering. Truck also has the rear end from the same vehicle with 3.23 rear gear and posi traction with new rear leaf springs. Engine is 69 model 383 cu.in. with 30 over bore, rebuilt carter thermoquad carb, dual exhaust with stacks that work. Truck has the air conditioning from car and it is complete but will need vacuum and recharge to work. Trans is a older rebuild from Mancini Bros in roseville and shifts tight with hurst ratchet shifter. Interior is real nice and done right in grey and black. Fuel tank has been moved to the bed of the truck so no gas smells inside. Needs a few things to be really nice but go to the car shows and see how many of this really rare truck you see. This body style was made for only the 1957 model year. I am looking to get 8500.oo for the truck and may deliver for the right price but only within 500 miles or so and payment must be made and cleared before any transport will be considered.
