1978 Dodge D100 Pickup Truck (D100 Utiline Custom 100 Model)
Truck was purchase new at Luke Potter Dodge (1963-1995) Winter park, Fl. This was one owner truck until 2012. Original dealer documentation, Dodge Truck brochures (1978) and owners manual included. Truck was built in Canada and has been in Florida it's entire life.
Original Paint in "Sunrise Orange" is still on the truck. There are scratches, dings, small dents from normal use & work since 1978. Truck is a "True Survivor".
Original items include: two wheel drive, 115" wheelbase, factory ps, vinyl seat cover, 3 speed on the column, front bumper, grill (with scratches, dings, small dents), rear step bumper (dealer installed), stepside bed with original tailgate, jack (under hood mount) windows (now tinted), interior trim, door panels/hardware, Original 225 Slant 6 (modified). "Ziebart" undercoating throughout the cab and doors and undercarriage (overspray visible underside of hood----NO RUST)
Modifications: Rebuilt slant six with 18191 miles since rebuild, 5 angle valve job w/oversize stainless steel valves, Comp Cams 268, comp springs, lifters & pushrods, Holley 390 CFM polished 4bbl Carb, Offenhauser intake manifold and valve cover, Clifford "shorty" headers w/side pipes (glasspacks), MSD ignition, coil, & wires, distributor, NOS/MOPAR Voltage regulator, clutch, pressure plate, & throwout bearin, new universal joints,Aluminum air cleaner & PCV, Champion Aluminum Radiator, Two SPAL electric fans w/ adjustable thermostat,fuel & power steering pumps, Brakes (disc front/drum rear), shocks seals, bushings alternator, battery, 12v power outlet, Auto Meter "American Muscle" gauges in handmade aluminum dash insert, Pioneer App radio w/smart phone accessories and Bluetooth, SoundStream 6 speaker box, Grant Wood Steering Wheel (15"), GT Mat sound deadner, two rolls insulation from firewall to rear of cab, carpet & floor mats, lowered 4" in front with Dodge van arms/springs, lowered 6" in rear by flipping rear end on top of springs, Wheel Vintiques OEM Chrysler Series 63 Wheels 6"x15"in front & 8"x15" rear, Baby Moon Caps and trim rings, BFG Radial T/A's (225/60/R15 fronts & 275//60/R15 rears), original bed wood replaced by with new oak and original metal bed strips repainted, marine epoxy coats wood, blue dots, bed roll mounted stop/turn/tail lights (LED) added, vent window locks, & Old AIr Brand AC-Heat system installed.
Included: Original 15" wheels, Dodge Center Caps (original), original steering wheel, repair manuals, new rubber window molding for front and rear (unopened packages), & documentation
This truck has been driven many places and is very dependable....everything works on this truck including the windshield washers!
It has won about a dozen trophies, but is not really a show queen, just a dependable cruiser.
Inspections/appraisals can be accommodated at buyers expense. Advance appointment required.
Truck is being sold "As is" with NO warranty of any type, written or expressed.
Will coordinate pickup/ shipping with buyer. Shipping is sole responsibility of buyer at buyers expense.
