BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This is a cool piece of American car culture and history hardly
seen anymore, but are getting much more notice these days.
Front bench seat is missing. Its been sitting about 10 yrs or more.
We cleaned it up and poured some gas down the carb, turned the
key and pushed on the starter pedal on the floor and "vrroom"
started right up and idled for about 8 seconds. I did this several times
to make sure it wasnt a fluke. Im going to try and get the brakes
functional this week (but I did not that the lf wheel cylinder is missing.
Id like to be able to drive it onto a hauler if possible. But not making
any promises right now. Depends on how much time I have. I will
put a E-fuel pump on it for now with a small reserve tank of fresh gas
under the hood so I can hear it run for a few minutes. Sinces its a
stick, I can move it around the yard I think using the Ebrake or just
shutting it off in gear to stop it :) unless I get the brakes working.
The original color of this truck was bright RED and it may of been used
as part of an old Emergency or Fire truck vehicle back in the day.
This truck literally has almost NO ROT on the body, floor and cab areas.
Its probably one of the nicest survivor trucks Ive come across in yrs.
Lots of surface rust under it. Some side glass missing and cracks in some
of the flat front glass, but rear glass all okay. Decent chrome and stainless
too on the grill and around the vehicle. Doors open and close okay.
GREAT truck to restore or do a mild resto on and take it to the shows
as a survivor or barn find. Shows about 65k on the odometer, but no
idea if its original or what.
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL !

DRIVETRAIN: factory Inline 6cyl truck and manual trans.
Motor is in good shape, newer carb and it starts and runs
as mentioned earlier on with some gas down the carb. Looks
to be all stock and original, and a nice unmolested truck
well for the most part. Tires are mostly just rollers for now.
Working to see if I can get the brakes functional this week.
Email or check back in a few days for an update on that.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the interior is very bare
and spartan, not that they came loaded with much back in
the day. The bench seat is gone. Ive been sitting on a milk
crate for now. Floors and cab corners are in amazing shape
for how old this truck is. Inside the roof has alot of surface
rust, but didnt feel the need to knock it off yet. Rest of it
looks pretty complete, comes with a key too.
EXTERIOR:the body very straight for its age, but this is a very
rot FREE survivor. The sheetmetal looks to be original
the best I can tell from 1950The body is not perfect but its
damn nice for its age. but its pretty clean and rot free for its age.
Ive tried to show as much as possible in all the pics below. The bed
too is in good shape (except for the wood of course) If you have any questions please ask.
Doors hood and tailgate all function.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see
Just your basic set up,No wacky mods and surface rust at
best. Makes coming apart a breeze. 15" steel wheels look to
be original. Its old, but functional at the moment.
Will try to get the brakes working this week if I can. Think they
just need to be bled.
Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
