ALSO INCLUDED IS THE ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET WHICH IS MOSTLY COMPLETE! KEEP IN MIND THAT FEW BUILD SHEETS SURVIVED, ESPECIALLY IN CONVERTIBLES!
ORIGINAL RADIATOR SUPPORT WITH #s STILL INTACT, AS WELL AS REAR DRIVERS SIDE LOWER TRUNK DRIP RAIL MOULDING WITH #s STILL INTACT!
TONS OF DOCUMENTATION COME WITH THIS CAR, DATING BACK TO MARCH 1970, COPIES OF TITLES FROM PREVIOUS OWNERS DATING BACK TO MARCH 1970!
PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING!
THIS CAR ORIGINALLY CAME WITH THE STANDARD STEERING WHEEL, AND THAT IS WHAT IT WILL BE SOLD WITH! I DID HAVE A WOOD LOOK STEERING WHEEL IN THE CAR WHEN THESE PICTURES WHERE TAKEN, BUT I DECIDED TO SELL THE CAR WITH THE CORRECT STEERING WHEEL IT CAME WITH, AS I ENDED UP SELLING THE WOOD LOOK STEERING WHEEL TO A FRIEND OF MINE!
I ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THIS CAR FROM RON ADARE? not sure of last name spelling, WHO USED TO OWN AND OPERATE GREAT LAKES MOPAR NOS PARTS IN MID MICHIGAN BACK IN 2000 AT THE MOPAR NATIONALS IN COLOMBUS, OHIO!
IT TOOK ME SEVERAL YEARS TO FIND ALL OF THE CORRECT ORIGINAL PARTS I COULD THAT ARE UNIQUE TO THE 1970 CORONET ONLY! THERE ARE A FEW ODDS AND ENDS I COULD NOT FIND, OR WERE NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME I RESTORED THE CAR FROM 2005-2010, THAT ARE NICE REPRODUCTIONS, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO LOOK CLOSE TO IDENTIFY THEM!
ORIGINAL ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION WERE NOT WITH THE CAR WHEN I PURCHASED IT! I DID MY BEST TO FIND A DATE ERA CORRECT 1970 MOTOR AND AN HP AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION!
ENGINE: PAD STAMPED F 440 HP THERE IS ALSO A NUMBER 9 STAMPED BUT CANNOT RED THE OTHER NUMBER AS PAINT IS COVERING IT!IN 2009 I SENT THE 906 HEADS TO RACING ENGINE TECHNOLOGIES IN MUSKEGON, MICH. AND HAD LARGER INTAKE VALVES 2.140" AND LARGER EXHAUST VALVES 1.650" INSTALLED AS WELL AS THE INTAKE AND EXHAUST SEAT ANGLES REGROUND! AIR FLOW DATA SHEET IS INCLUDED WITH THE CAR! ENGINE IS RESPONSIVE, AND RUNS AWESOME WITH THE BETTER AIR FLOW IN THE HEADS!
IGNITION WAS CORRECTLY UPDATED TO ELECTRONIC FOR RELIABILITY DURING RESTORATION OF THE CAR, AND IT WORKS FANTASTIC AND RELIABLE!
INTAKE IS A WEIAND, AND CARB IS AN EDELBROCK "THUNDER SERIES" 750 CFM FOR RELIABILITY!
A MILD CAM WITH A SLIGHT LOPE WAS ALSO INSTALLED, AND ENGINE SOUNDS GREAT!
STOCK HP EXHAUST MANIFOLDS, WITH A 2 1/2 INCH TTI H PIPE, DYNO MAX MUFFLERS (FROM TTI) AND TTI STAINLESS EXHAUST TIPS! I DID HAVE STAINLESS RESONATORS WELDED ONTO THE FRONT OF THE EXHAUST TIPS, TO QUIET THE DRONE, (NOISE) WHEN CRUISING WITH THE TOP DOWN!
THE 727 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION IS NOT THE ORIGINAL ONE CAR WAS BORN WITH, BUT IT IS AN HP 4 CLUTCH PACK HEAVY DUTY UNIT, THAT WAS PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT WITH A SHIFT KIT INSTALLED. TORQUE CONVERTER IS STOC, AS I BUILT THE CAR FOR CRUISING AND CAR SHOWS!
I PURCHASED THE CAR WITH NO ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION, BUT THE ORIGINAL REAR AXLE IS STILL INTACT, WITH A WHITE PAINTED DATE CODE STAMPED ON THE AXLE TUBE!
I BELIEVE THE ORIGINAL REAR AXLE GEAR WAS A 3;23 SURE GRIP, BUT I REPLACED IT WITH A COMPLETELY REBUILT 3:55 SURE GRIP GEAR!
RADIATOR IS NOT NUMBERS CORRECT BUT HAS A 3 ROW HIGH EFFICIENCY CORE FOR SUPERB COOLING AS WELL AS AN OVERFLOW TANK!
DURING THE ORIGINAL RESTORATION,I INSTALLED FRONT DISC BRAKES FORM INLINE TUBE! REAR BRAKES ARE 11" DRUM!
THE WHEELS AND BEAUTY RINGS ARE 15x8 ON THE REAR, AND 15x7 ON THE FRONT RALLY STYLE WHICH ARE AFTERMARKET, NOT ORIGINAL MOPAR, BUT THEY SURE LOOK LIKE THE ORIGINALS!THIS CAR WAS COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED AND RESTORED ON A ROTISSERIE AND ALL OF THE SHEET METAL IS ORIGINAL MOPAR EXCEPT THE TRUNK PAN!
THE RAMCHARGER HOOD AND SCOOPS ARE ORIGINAL TO THE CAR WHEN PURCHASED, PLUS THE 6 WAY ADJUSTABLE FRONT DRIVERS BUCKET SEAT, AS WELL AS THE TIC TOC TACH RALLY DASH!
DURING RESTORATION THE ORIGINAL TO THIS CAR, RALLY GAUGE CLUSTER WAS SENT TO REDLINE INSTRUMENTS AND FULLY RESTORED, AND THEY ALL WORK PROPERLY AS THEY SHOULD! I DID INSTALL AN AFTERMARKET OIL PRESSURE GAUGE UNDER THE DASH, WHICH CAN EASILY BE REMOVED AND THE ORIGINAL RALLY DASH OIL PRESSURE GAUGE HOOKED UP AGAIN IF BUYER CHOOSES TO DO SO!
CAR HAS BEEN DRIVEN DURING SUMMER MONTHS ONLY SINCE RESTORATION BACK IN 2010, AND EVERYTHING WORKS EXCEPT THE HORN, WINDSHIELD WASHER BOTTLE, AND UNDER DASH SPEAKER. THE CLOCK DOES WORK, HOWEVER WHEN I TRY TO ADJUST THE TIME WITH THE KNOB, IT WILL NOT ADJUST!
THE ORIGINAL AM/FM RADIO DOES WORK, BUT IT IS CURRENTLY HOOKED UP TO AN AFTERMARKET SPEAKER, WHICH LAYS ON THE FRONT EDGE OF THE CONSOLE UNDER THE DASH! THERE IS AN ORIGINAL SPEAKER MOUNTED UP UNDER THE DASH WHERE IT BELONGS, BUT SPEAKER WILL NOT WORK WHEN I PLUG THE RADIO INTO IT, NOT SURE WHY!

A COMPLETE, ORIGINAL BUMPER JACK WILL GO WITH THIS CAR, BUT NOT SURE IF I HAVE THE CORRECT LUG WRENCH, ALTHOUGH I DO HAVE SEVERAL TO CHOOSE FROM. ENTIRE JACK ASSEMBLY WILL NEED TO BE PAINTED, AS IT WAS SANDBLASTED AND SPRAYED WITH BLACK PRIMER DURING RESTORATION OF THE CAR, BUT NEEDS TO BE PAINTED CORRECTLY AS I NEVER GOT AROUND TO PAINTING OR INSTALLING THE JACK IN THE CAR!
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS CAR HAS BEEN GENTLY DRIVEN DURING SUMMER MONTHS ONLY SINCE 2010, AND IS NOT A FRESH RESTORATION, BUT IT IS VERY VERY CLEAN AND PRESENTS WELL!
I HAVE LOTS OF PICTURES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST, INCLUDING UNDER THE CAR AS I PUT IT ON A HOIST FOR DETAILED PICTURES!
IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME CORRECTLY, MOPAR ONLY MADE 201 DODGE CORONET RT CONVERTIBLES IN 1970! ADD TO THAT, HOW MANY HAD THIS COLOR COMBINATION, NOT TO MENTION ALL OF THE OPTIONS THIS ONE ORIGINALLY CAME WITH? PLUS ORIGINAL FENDER TAG AND A BUILD SHEET, AND TONS OF PAPERWORK DATING BACK TO MARCH 1970?
I RECENTLY HAD A FRIEND OF MINE THAT RESTORES MOPARS "FRESHEN UP" THE CAR HERE AND THERE AND IT IS NOW READY TO GO TO A NEW OWNER!
DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN ONE OF THE RAREST MOPARS WITH THIS COLOR COMBINATION EVER BUILT!
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD "AS IS" WITH NO RETURNS SO PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND "BEFORE BIDDING" OR "AGREEING" TO PURCHASE!
IF YOU NEED MORE PICTURES OR WOULD LIKE TO COME INSPECT THE CAR, PLEASE CONTACT ME THROUGH EBAY OR TRY ME AT THREE ONE SIX EIGHT TWO ONE SEVEN SIX FIVE TWO. IT IS ADVERTISED LOCALLY. THANKS FOR LOOKING, JOHN.

HERE ARE A FEW MORE THINGS I FORGOT TO MENTION ABOUT THIS CAR!
PLEASE NOTE: AS STATED EARLIER IN THIS LISTING, EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE A FEW PICTURES WITH THE WOOD STEERING WHEEL IN THE CAR AT THE TIME SOME OF THESE PICTURES WERE TAKEN EARLY LAST SUMMER, I DECIDED TO INSTALL THE ORIGINAL BLACK STEERING WHEEL THAT WAS IN THE CAR ORIGINALLY BACK WHEN I BOUGHT IN IN THE YEAR 2000, AS I NO LONGER HAVE THE WOOD STEERING WHEEL WHICH I SOLD TO MY FRIEND A COUPLE OF MONTHS AFTER TAKING PICTURES OF THE CAR WITH THE WOOD STEERING WHEEL IN IT EARLY LAST SUMMER!

I ADDED 12 MORE PICTURES OF THE ORIGINAL DASH VIN TAG, WHAT WAS LEFT OF THE BUILD SHEET UNDER THE REAR SEAT, AND A FEW OTHER AREAS OF THE CAR!

IT DID CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH POWER STEERING AND MANUAL BRAKES, AND THE POWER STEERING IS EFFORTLESS, MAKING THE CAR A DREAM TO DRIVE!
THE EARLIEST PAPERWORK IS DATED FEBRUARY 2, 1971 - A PHOTOCOPY OF A STATE OF MARYLAND CERTIFICATE OF TITLE!
THERE ARE A TOTAL OF 15 COPIES OF SEVERAL DIFFERENT TITLES, AND OR APPLICATIONS FOR THEM FROM DIFFERENT OWNERS FROM MARYLAND AND NORTH CAROLINA!
I ALSO HAVE A HANDFUL OF SERVICE-REPAIR RECEIPTS FROM SOME OF THE PREVIOUS OWNERS, PLUS AN ORIGINAL 1970 DODGE CORONET OWNERS GLOVE BOX MANUAL, AN ORIGINAL 1970 DODGE CORONET FULL COLOR SALES BROCHURE, PLUS A 1:18 SCALE DIE CAST MODEL OF A 1970 DODGE CORONET RT CONVERTIBLE IN THE SAME COLORS OF PLUM CRAZY WHITE INTERIOR-BOOT (as top is down) ONLY IT HAS A PISTOL GRIP SHIFTER IN IT STILL IN IT'S UNOPENED DISPLAY BOX!
I HAVE A LOT MORE DETAILED PICTURES AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST, SO PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK IF YOU WANT TO VIEW A SPECIFIC AREA OF THE CAR NOT PICTURED!
