Testing the waters on my First Gen 12 valve Cummins. This is probably one of the cleanest around with 93k miles. Grey cloth interior; the previous owner did a frame off restoration and painted the frame with rust inhibitor. I've done lots of little fixes and projects over the course of about a year. I've since moved to the snow and need a 4x4. If I can't sell, I'll likely do a 4wd swap and this truck won't be for sale again.
It has:
Newer Cooper tires
Inyati bed liner
New battery
New bulbs
Bed rails/caps
Weather guard saddle toolbox
Ceramic paint coating
Some paint protection film (incomplete project)
New Class 5 2.5" tow hitch receiver with 2" reducer and 2 sizes of hitch locks.
Some bodywork (Paintless dent removal), some scratches have come up but I have a spare bottle of paint for easy color matching or DIY repairs.
4" diamond eye turbo back exhaust with a muffler. It sounds great and will put a smile on your face when you drive through a tunnel, guaranteed!
New front disc brakes and rotors
GPS tracker
Dashcam
New Kenwood stereo
Old Gen Cummins tailgate (painted but not bed lined yet)
New wiring for all lights cab and back
Oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter change at 91k.
Comes with a couple of extra fuel and oil filters and 1 or 2 wiper blades.
New air filters
Recent fluid changes
A few more things I'm probably forgetting
The paint is immaculate, the body is straight with no rust, the panels are all in great condition, the bed has a couple of small dings, A/C and heater blow ice cold and hot enough to melt ice off of the windows. Has cruise control, Power windows, Power mirrors, No door sag, No accidents, Unmolested engine.
I'm selling because I'm in a fire academy and don't have enough time to do a 4wd conversion but need a 4wd as I live in the snow now and can't keep getting stuck in my driveway. The previous owner did a frame off partial restoration and a beautiful paint job by a hot rod paint shop which his dad owns in Arizona. It breaks my heart to sell this truck but I just need the 4wd. The truck has been very well maintained as far as servicing goes, and was a daily driver for me for about 3k miles so far. The trans feels good, engine cranks over perfect and catches the first time at +17 degrees F, but the front end needs new bearings. Before I sell this truck, I'll likely replace the bearings and put new HD front coils on, and will update the listing if anything else comes up or is fixed.
I bought some factory side badges that say "Ram 250", "Cummins Turbo Diesel", but won't put them on unless the new owner wants them.
Truck comes with 3 fuel additives for cleaning the injectors and cold temps. I've been using a cummins endorsed winter fuel additive for when the temp drops below freezing, and sometimes use F-Bomb.
I'm open to trades so that I don't have to be without a vehicle, but will sell for cash. Looking for: Jeep Grand Cherokee or Cherokee, Tahoe or Suburban, z71, Yukon or Yukon XL, Escalade, Expedition, Expedition EL, 1500 gas Silverado, F-150, Sierra, or Ram, 4Runner, Sequoia. Chances are if you're interested in this truck you have a vehicle I'd be interested in. I'll only trade up for a 4x4 first gen, and am just buying or trading for a vehicle to hold me over until I find a good 4x4 1st gen! I spent countless hours just trying to find this truck, and even more fixing it up, so I'd really like to see it go to a good home. Each previous owner has said "I can count the times on one hand this truck went over 70". I can say the same. I drive from Forest Ranch to Chico 4 days a week, and the truck takes the steep grade no problem. This is really a beautiful truck and you have to see, hear, and drive it to truly appreciate it. More pics upon request if I haven't uploaded them already! I can deliver it to anywhere in the Western US if you have a trade vehicle or I can find one nearby.
Call or text Chris at any time.
