1968 Dodge Charger RT Description

1968DODGE CHARGER R/T 440

I recently pulled this 1968 Dodge Charger 440 R/T from a garage in Austin Texas. It had been in there for years! Cobb webs all over it.

The car seems mostly complete minus the air cleaner, radio, and drive shaft. I’d told the 440 HP in the car is the original engine. It has not run in a long time.

Seems the car was originally green with a black vinyl top. The car needs a total restoration and there is rust issues throughout the car. But....restored its possibly an $80,000 car. The car come with a clear Texas title and all four tires will hold air or be replaced so that the car can be winched onto a transport truck.

The vin # is XS29LB227246. Feel free to call for more details. Hawk. 210-548-1310. The car is stored in San Antonio Texas.

Thanks for your interest and or winning bid. I hunt vintage cars and trucks across the great state of Texas, have since 2004. Most of what I find are rare and unique vintage vehicles, and generally over 40 years old. Most will have scratches, dings, dents and yes rust at some level. I do my best to accurately describe what I see. During the auction is the time to call or write with your questions or concerns, not afterwards. My phone number in San Antonio is 210-548-1310. I’m friendly and easy to work with. I’m also happy to help get your vehicle loaded when your shipper arrives or help when there is a missing title situation. A non-refundable deposit of $700.00 usd is due at auction end. The balance within a week via cash in person or wire transfer. Again thanks for your interest!
