1965 Dodge Coronet 500 Description

1965 Dodge Coronet Project Car


Car is a 65 Coronet 500 on a rotisserie and is very close to going to paint. Has new floors, center trunk patch and has frame ties and torque boxes installed. Car is in primer and is 90% seam sealed (product for last 10% included). It is set up to be four speed with console if desired.

Engine is ready to be assembled and is based on a 69 440 HP block blueprinted and prepped to be a 513 stroker. Block has been bored 40 over, decked for straight, and line honed. The internals start with a Scat crank and rods. They are topped with Diamond flat top pistons and gapless rings. Rotating assembly was set up and balanced by Lewis Racing Engines in California. Cam is not included but is intended to be a roller and CompCams roller lifters are included.

Heads are Trick Flow 240’s set up and checked by Racing. Only items needed to complete engine is cam, intake, headers, and carb.

Power will run through a rebuilt 69 18 spline transmission. Correct 65 bellhousing has been machined to accept the forged bearing retainer. Correct shifter is included.

Power will be sent to a rebuilt 355 clutch style third member. Carrier is cleaned and ready for paint or power coating.

Car will ride on 8 X15 cop wheels and be stopped by late model discs on the front and drums on the back.

The interior is a bucket seat interior with a console. Console is included but will need some fiberglass repair. Complete interior in tan and black included. Bucket seat frames are cleaned and primered.

Dash is complete with several extra pieces and can be restored by owner or sent off.

Hood is stock and Hemi style scoop is included. Hood, doors, and deck lid are in poly primer.

All glass is intact and window regulators have been cleaned and ready to install. New dood, and window trim is included.

All stainless trim with some extra pieces are included. Bumpers are in good condition but for this car should be rechromed.

Fixtures include gear driven rotisserie, rear end carrier stand and k member assembly stand. Engine is on stand.

Price is $21300. Cash firm. Obviously this doesn't even cover the parts included with this project and non of the labor. I am selling because of health reasons and want to see it completed.
