1951 Dodge B-3-B Pickup
1951 Dodge Other Pickups Description
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________It is time to cull the herd. Offering my 1951 Dodge B3B pickup to someone who wants an unmodified, very solid original example. The pictures tell the story. Beautiful truck that drives well, starts up quickly, holds nice oil pressure, does not smoke, brakes work fine, all gauges are functional, horn honks, vacuum wipers wipe, and all lights work as required. The truck has undergone a cosmetic restoration by a prior owner. The paint job has weathered quite well, but if I were to keep her - she would be repainted in the future. I have taken pictures of the few future problem areas and one of a rear fender I believed was replaced. This truck was sold to me as a "complete restoration". However, I can't use that description in my narrative. I would call her a 10 footer, looks perfect until you get real serious about the paint job. She is solid as a rock with no rust out other than the one fender area I have shown and mentioned. Not a perfect truck, but very nice for the price. I drive it weekly and my trips are usually in the 40 to 50 miles range. Truck is located on Route 6 in Galeton, PA but I will drive it to a larger city to cut down trucking costs. I would suggest Elmira or Corning, NY or Williamsport PA as points of origin when hiring a transporter. They charge too much for off route pick-ups...Take a good look and ask questions.I'ma 76 year old Snowbird wintering in Florida. The pickup is stored in my heated garage in PA. Does not get driven in PA winters.
