1952 Dodge Wayfarer NO RESERVE AUCTION - LAST HIGHEST BIDDER WINS CAR! Description

We are Euclid Car Co at 1240 E. 286th St., Euclid, OH 44132, Fax No. 216-417-5301.Thank you for looking at our vehicle. You will need a Paypal account to bid. Our hours of operation and pickup times are Mon - Fri from 9AM to 5PM.Please do not message us through eBay, only by our phone number. We do not read texts. Phone calls only. If for some reason we don't answer the phone, leave a message and we promise to call you back as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the vehicle, call Stan at 216-598-7011. If you win the vehicle, please send a $500 deposit to our Paypal account within 12 hours. eBay is letting anybody bid, regardless of your past history. If you as a buyer have not bought at least 3 items in the last 3 months, you need to call us before you bid or your bid will be immediately removed.
We are trying to be fair to all buyers and we do not want non paying bidders bidding up cars that an honest person wants to buy, and being bid up by a person who is playing a game with our account and thousands of other accounts in this country. We want to be fair and square to all real potential bidders. Non paying buyers will be reported to eBay. We hope not to have any.Balance is to be paid by check, cash orwire transfer only. Please send us your name and phone number directly through eBay so we can work out the paperwork and delivery afterdeposit has been made. We charge $150 for paperwork and title transfer and 45 daytags are available for $18.50.

We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer’s Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it’sthe buyer’s responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can’t make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car.

If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer’s responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 781-763-7447 Ext. 208. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you're buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you'd like to call him for a price, that would be fine.

All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don't have enough space to store everyone's car after they're paid for. It's the buyer's responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer's side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven't purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you're a zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us.

Thank you for looking at our 1952 Dodge Wayfarer Business Coupe, known as the "salesman's car", because they were able to put all of their merchandise into the trunk, and they still had a front seat for another passenger if they wanted somebody to go with them. Dodge made this car from 1949 to 1952. They're very, very rare, and even rarer to find an original car that has the original dash, engine, and transmission that hasn't been messed with. Its been repainted sometime in the past and the interior has been redone in the past, but it's still in great shape. Some of these cars actually had moldings on the side and a straight molding on the hood with the hood ornament. I looked into how much it would be to put them back on and they're very inexpensive on eBay. I'm not sure if this one came with or without the molding trim, but it looks really nice exactly the way it is today. As you can see, the body and interior are in very good condition.

This car is almost 70 years old. Underneath the vehicle is solid. The trunk is still like new. It never formed rust, and never had to have any rust spots touched up. The motor compartment is clean. We drove this car all around and it runs great. We bought this car from an older gentleman that purchased it 11 years ago with 33K miles and it presently has 38K miles. The motor compartment, as you can see in all the pictures, is clean. This car has the 3 on the tree for shifting, and again, like I said, it shifts good and it drives good. The trunk handle needs to be adjusted so it turns all the way and seals the trunk better. That's why in some pictures it's on an angle, and I didn't want to push or adjust it myself because I'm not a mechanic. The vent that comes out between the two windows has a lever underneath the middle of the dash so it moves up and down. This lever isn't working properly right now, but I'm sure that's a very easy fix. The exhaust manifold below the carburetor has a small hairline crack that will have to be welded.

If you're the lucky winner of this vehicle, I can almost guarantee you that you'll have the only one in most all the car shows that you go to. Please check out all the pictures in the bottom of ad in the Flickr slideshow so you can familiarize yourself with the car better than just the 24 pictures on the top. This car is inside our garage, and that's where it will remain until you personally pick the car up or send a shipper. This is one good looking, rare, classic automobile.
