1967 Dodge Coronet Description

My buddy Rich ( who I am listing these cars for ) is really on the fence about selling them. There is a donor car that has 41,044 ORIGINAL MILES on it that is absolutely perfect for the parts the 67 Coronet R/T Convertible needs. Floor pans are same, frame rails are same, fenders, grille etc etc ........ ALL THE SAME. The R/T convertible suffered a front end collision - no frame damage ( I think it was late 70's ) and it was parked and forgotten about - the car only has 61,562 ORIGINAL MILES on it. Still wears its original AA1 Silver paint and it came from factory with red pin striping which matches the cars red interior. The car is all original except back seat. The top is even in excellent condition and originally came with a glass back window which is broken out. This car was gorgeous when new. The title is clear and fender tag is present and Build Sheet is still in car ( I pulled carpet back yesterday and found it but unfortunately it wont be of much use, I did leave it and did not try to pull it out ), mice have not ravaged this car and we haven't tore the original carpet out of it to look for it but it has been Rich's experience that he has found Build Sheets under carpet for this vintage. This Coronet convertible does need alot of work, both front frame rails and inner fenders are needed plus the cross member for Torsion Bars needs replaced which the donor car has all of. It needs front fenders which donor car has also. Its not the money for all the parts needing replaced, its the time. In the past I have drilled out spot welds and removed entire front clips and floor pans for Rich and yes, its a little time consuming but its really not that bad. The 440 and transmission are original to car but I think Carburetor has been replaced but original air cleaner is present AND, when car had collision before original hood was tossed the louvers were saved and there are no broken mounting studs. The R/T door plaques are also with the car. There are only 3 hubcaps. Pre 1968 Mopars are climbing FINALLY in value and you really dont want to miss out out on this Convertible.
Included with the Convertible is a 1967 Coronet 440 4-door with a 318 and AC 41,044 original mileage Dodge. This car is a cream puff and really is ashame to take it apart but, it would be going for a greater cause. It is currently not running because of the winters where car came from, they drain block completely by disconnecting lower radiator hose and draining block. Otherwise this old Coronet would run like a champ. There is a clear title for it as well. I am limited on pictures but took alot of underside of Convertible which I can not fit on here but you are more than welcome to ask me for additional pictures. Because the convertible has sat for so long, drive train will have to be rebuilt Im sure. But it is the original engine and transmission - rear end Im not certain about. I know there will be questions and you are more than welcome to ask them either thru e-mail here or you can call Rich at anytime at 360-340-4703, if he misses your call please leave a voicemail and he will get right back to you.
