The car didn't have a build sheet. When I researched it a bit more I found that most cars that came out of the LA plant didn't. Sorry

I made a quick walk around video of the car today. Figured it might help show it off a bit. Thanks again. Sorry for how dirty it is but I do enjoy driving it.

Relisting the car at a reduced price. Thanks for looking. Feel free to ask questions. I'm happy to text more pictures or a video of the car running. I'd really rather not take it to auction and pay fees so hopefully we can come to an agreement!

I have way more pictures than the site allows. Feel free to message me and I'll email them or text. If you have any questions also I'll answer what I can. Thanks for looking.

For sale is a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T with numbers matching 440 motor and a factory installed 4 speed manual pistol grip trans.

A bit about the car and my situation... My father was the second owner of the car and has had it since before I was born. He passed away from cancer in 2014 and left it to me. I've kept it until now and planned on having it forever, but life happens. Unfortunately my wife and I are having fertility issues and in order to finance a chance at offspring I need to sell this car. My father spent years restoring this beauty and kept great records of what he did as well as maintained almost all of the original parts.

Included with the sale will be the car as well as another hood, huge totes of original parts, and all of the documentation I have on the car itself.

Some things I know about the car...The original owner used the car for racing so the battery was moved into the trunk and I think the original owner changed the exhaust manifolds to headers. I know that the car came with an automatic transmission but the original owner had the dealership install the 4 speed pistol grip transmission instead which is why when you decode the panel you see automatic trans. The car had an 8 track player which will be included but I have no idea if it works as well as some 8 track tapes if that's your thing.

My dad put in an aftermarket stereo as well as A/C that works really well. He also put in an oil pressure gauge for safety instead of what he called "dummy lights". There really isn't anything he didn't touch on the car.

The only things I can think of that I don't have original parts for are the wheels, tires, and exhaust manifolds. After an unfortunate visit to discount tire the left handed studs on the left wheels were changed over to be right handed all the way around. The car has been updated some with modern parts but again my dad never threw anything away so I probably still have it in the totes.

I'd be happy to talk more about the car and share more pictures or maybe even video chat to do a walk around with any buyer serious about the car. I'm located near Austin Texas for anyone who wanted to see it in person.

I've had the car worked on by Joe of Muscle cars of Austin if you wanted a 3rd party opinion of the car I'm sure for a fee he can look it over again to give you an honest estimate.

I know this is a special car and I'll answer everything I can about it. Feel free to contact with any questions. It drives great on high octane gas and is a real pleasure to drive.

Thanks for looking
