1972 Dodge Challenger Rally Description

Dodge Challenger . Condition is Used1972 Dodge Challenger all numbers matching 340 Rally project car, PS,PB, Auto.I bought this car in 1977 when I was stationed in California and used it as a dailydriver at that time. In 1979 I brought it back up north and only used it during thesummer months. The car has never seen road salt and is rust free and is as solid as they get. While in California I waxed it so often that I wore the paint off partof the roof. Combined with an issue with an over charged battery I decided torepaintthe entire car. I enjoyed taking it to local car shows and the last time I drove it was in1995 when I took it down to the Mopar Nationals in Indianapolis. The car has always been stored in my heated garage or the enclosed car hauler. Butthe repaint wasn’t done correctly and started showing signs of age so a few years agoI decided to start stripping it down to paint it the right way. The body still needs tobe stripped down but the fenders, doors and hood are already done. I wanted to make thiscar perfect again so during this process I started to repair or replace any parts thatwere needed. Including a new steel core dash pad (with therosetterivets), carpet, headliner, rubbermolding, A pillar trim pieces, door hinges, strobe stripes, a complete Hyper-Flex Poly frontend kit, E Bodycartwheels, engine dolly, Misc decals etc. Some of the parts I had refurbished were thespeedometer, rebuilt and odometer reset to zero, quartz movement in the clock, bumpers have been replated and arestill in the packaging. What is needed to finish this project is paint and an exhaust ofyour choice. I have both originalbuild sheets but they are in rough shape. The car ran fine in 95 but I would still have the engine and trannyfreshenedup. The tires are 40 years old and are mounted on Crager SST wheels, but I also havea set of Mopar slotted rally wheels. If you are thesuccessful bidder I will also sell the enclosed 2002, 27' Avenger car hauler for an additional $2,500. The trailer has never been licensed/titled and never used on the street, I have theoriginal COO and it will be sold with a bill of sale.Prior inspection isrecommend and due to the vast amounts of parts shipping all this is not practical, local pickup only.
