Truck in Lansing NC, when you email, send phone number to contact you.
I'm selling it because I bought another old Dodge truck.
I usually drive this to town at least once a week, 20-30 miles round trip.

.Runs and drives very nicely. The mileage is unkown, the odometer shows 02452.5, but the speedometer cable is not hooked up, needs speedometer drive gear, I use a GPS speedometer. runs excellent. The truck is 6 volt positive ground. There is a 12 volt battery in the box in the bed that provides power for the NOS cassette player under the dash, an outlet and the GPS speedometer. It is charged by an inverter that converts 6 volt positive to 12 volt negative at the rate of about 10 watts.
All the gauges work, turn signals, heater, aftermarket electric wipers, all the lights work. Interior is very nice, I installed two seat belts. I built the box in the bed, removeable, and the oak side rails,
The windshield is sealed, so it no longer folds out, but doesn't leak either.
Now has arrow front turn signals.
3/4 ton trucks came with 15" wheels, this one is equipped with oversize tires, combined with the 4.11 gears, 60 mph is around 2900 rpm, makes for a good cruising speed.
North Carolina is very serious about issuing titles to antique vehicles. The data plate shows, was aftermarket and the serial number issued in the previous state had no relation to reality. The VIN should be an eight digit number 855004XX, 85500432 being the first 1947 model built. Therefore, NC assigns a serial number and affixes the serial number in two places on the truck, The plate that came on the truck is shown in my pictures.
This is a nice truck, serious offers considered, email with questions.
