this was buffalo minn 1940 fire truck. It had 2888 miles when sold to the shriners in the late 80's. There is oil change sticker dated 1994 and mileage is 4130. I got the truck 10 years ago with mileage of 5400 and now is 5852. Believed to original mileage. The truck had a vacuum of 13 and was very had to start. I pulled the engine and rehoned the cylinders and new rings. it is 228 cubic inch 25 inch length engine. It was NOT over bored and valves where not touched. I has vacuum of 19 now. I has NO rust in corners, just mild surface rust under floor mat, I have a clean title and it is in mine name. It starts right up with 40 psi oil pressure and runs at 40 until hot, then it will idle at 25 and the faintest touch of throttle it goes to 40. I have driven it in a 90 degree parade for 1 hour and it ran at 160 degrees the entire time
I have the title in my name and is clear
Siren works
Red lights work
Blue light works
There is a car seat where hoses would normally be, for parade use
Pump has a crack in housing, Viking pump still lists replacement housing as of 5 years ago
