1970 Dodge Challenger Description
I've owned this car for 14 years, was all original when I bought it, red with red interior. Previous owner had replaced portions of the trunk floor. It came with 6 cyl, 3spd trans., 7 1/4" rear end. No fender tag, all other numbers (vin tag, radiator support, and firewall) all match. We still have all the parts that were removed from car when we upgraded it.
I had a 70 Challenger RT rolling chassis with roof damage, so we used K-member with disk brakes, 8 3/4 rear end posi-trak, and drive shaft. Purchased rally hood, new interior, carpet, top with glass rear window. I made a swap to obtain a '72 340 engine and 4 speed trans (from a cuda). Bought new pistel grip shifter from Brewers. Changed the color to Vitamin C Orange, added R/T stripping. Installed H.P. exhaust manifolds.
Currently car has a 6 pak set up, however we will be putting back 4 barrel set up with an orange air cleaner for the sale of this car.Car runs out very well.

The water pump had a very small amount of play, picture was taken as water pump was being replaced. Also, notice radiator is only 18". The new 22" radiator arrived today and will be installed along with new hoses. If 6pak is preferred instead of placing 4bbl back on, add $2,000.00 to selling price.
