This van spent the majority of its life in California. I have owned the van for approximately 9 years. The van was Ziebarted when new which has preserved the van quite nicely. The motor is a strong 360 with a 727 automatic transmission. The odometer shows 27,195 miles. I cannot confirm if that is the original mileage or not however the van appears to have been used sparingly. The camping interior was removed prior to me purchasing the van. The van starts rights up and runs quietly. The original owner of the van said that the custom paint job was $5,000 in 1976. The van runs down the road and stops and steers nicely. I have only driven the van a handful times in the 9 years that I have owned it. The linkage needs to be tightened up as when I put it in drive it is a little off. There are a couple of scratches as shown in the pictures. The only rust is on either side behind the rear tires. The frame and underside of the van are very solid with only surface rust. I can send pictures of the underside of desired. I recently dropped the gas tank and replaced the sending unit and replaced the spark plugs and wires. The gas gauge is not working at this time. The A/C compressor was removed prior to me purchasing the van. All in all this is a Super cool survivor camper van that is ready for you to finish it out and enjoy for many more years to come.
