1970 Dodge Challenger Description

Hey everyone thanks for taking the time to look at our listing. Up for grabs is this beautiful 1970 Challenger equipped with a stroked 528 HEMI, backed by an 18 spline HEMI 4 speed. Let me start by talking about the body on this car. This is a California built Challenger that left the factory white with a black gator top. The engine was originally a 318 backed by a 904 automatic. What made this car a prime candidate for a hemi clone was the original body. The entire car was media blasted before being painted B5 blue. We purchased this car from a collector who has very nice cars and this was his favorite car to drive. The quarter panels, doors, fenders, and floors are original to the car. For those looking for a muscle car to keep for years to come, you just cant beat having the original panels. From my understanding this car spent most of its life in Texas before coming to Michigan to be cloned into the beast it is now. The engine is a stroked 528 HEMI built by best machine. Their reputation precedes them and they really know how to build a strong running engine. This HEMI is making 700 horsepower on pump gas. It has aluminum indy heads, an aluminum dual quad intake, TTI full exhaust, and carter competition carbs. This engine is dialed in super nice, and once it warms up its a blast to drive. To build this engine alone you're looking at probably $40,000 or more. The 4 speed has all new internals built with some very nice parts, it shifts flawlessly. The car has Mickey Thompson drag radials with Caltracs and when you launch this car it hooks exceptionally well. The body has a beautiful B5 blue paint job that has a touch of pearl in it. Please watch the video, it really shows how beautiful the car looks outside. The panel gaps are nice, the pinch welds are perfect and the floors are in amazing condition. The frame tie was professionally welded in and actually goes into the floor to give the car enough structural integrity to handle the 700 horsepower without twisting the body. The interior is in nice condition, no tears or cracks in the seats or dash. The car does have rallye gauges with a tach and has an original A/C dash pad with the vents still in place. The trunk has had a rubber coating sprayed on top of it for insulation purposes. The owner had no intentions of selling this challenger but decided it was finally time to move on and let it go. Overall I would say this car is beautiful driver and with some minor details and TLC could probably win shows. PLEASE watch the video as it gives a very honest representation of the condition of this Challenger. Thanks and I hope this car ends up in your garage.
