1973 Dodge W100Super Cool Looking 1/2 Ton!One Family Owned Since NewExcellent Running 360 V8Pro Comp 4" Suspension Lift35" x 12.50 x 17" TiresThis is a really cool looking truck, I don't care which of the 'Big 3' denominations you worship at. The High Impact Tor Red with the black Power Wagon graphics just looks tough. Two sets of exterior pics are included in the ad. This is a hard color to picture depending on your monitor settings. It is a pretty 'orange' red and depending on what platform you use it can present as a vibrant red or a washed out Orange. Depending on your 'Car Language' consider it equivalent to Chevy's Hugger Orange, Ford's Calypso Coral or Pontiac's Carousel Red.This one was bought new in Butte Montana back onJuly 30,1973. When the owner passed away the truck went to his brother, who then went on to pass it on to his son who repainted the truck and added the lift about 3.5 years ago. According to the son the truck had never been wrecked. For the repaint the fenders were replaced due to the typical Montana mud induced fender rust. The drivers front floor pan was replaced with an original galvanized panel. The bed is in excellent condition with original bed paint and appears to be rust free. The repaint was done nicely, not perfect, butlooks great. This one is s-t-r-a-i-g-h-t too! If you want a cool driver, take a look.Inside the interior is the original. It shows some wear but for a 37 year old original its nice. The seat is quite comfortable too. After the floor was repaired it was perimeter sealed and then dyna-matted. The interior is nice & quiet on the road. The extra insulation is appreciated in both the winter & summer too.Under the hood the 360 has been upgraded with an aluminum intake manifold, headers & dual exhaust. The factory style 2 barrel carb was retained with a custom plate, a 4 barrel can be bolted in place if desired. When the intake was added a new oil pump was installed for cheap insurance. The engine fires up nicely and powers this 1/2 ton easily. The big exhaust has a nice snarl to it.To achieve this height a 4" Pro Comp lift was installed along with their 'steering correction' kit. On the road this one track very nicely and the steering is crisp & tight. The wheels are 17" units with 35x12.50 tires in excellent condition. For transport we recommend Mike's Discount Auto Transport.
