1967 Dodge Monaco
1967 Dodge Monaco Description
1967 Dodge Monaco two door fastback. 383 big block with a two barrel carburetor. I have not driven it much, just around the block a few times. Has a new Pertronix igniter ignition module new plugs and wires. Interior is pretty good. I sewed my first headliner but have not quite finished it up. I think it will look ok but you might want to have one done at a shop. It still needs the correct water pump pulley as it was gone with the radiator and fan. Has new radiator and flex fan. The way the belts are right now the tension idler is bypassed so I'd fix that before driving it long distances so it does not strain the power steering pump. Has new fuel pump. New water pump (but the old one was not bad, just thought it was) The tires have a lot of tread but I would not trust them on a long distance. The larger size rubs a little but I think a little lower profile will allow the rims on it to work. Body is pretty straight except the front fenders will need a little body work. There is rust around the rear window that will have to be addressed when painted. The trunk has some rust as almost every Monaco/ Polara I have ever seen had. I have not had time to address the interior gauges dash lights and other electrical stuff. The previous owner said it was all working before it was parked. I figure it is just ground issues and a drive down a bumpy dirt road would fix a lot of it but I do not really have any idea. I really love this car. It does not need a lot to make it a beautiful car. They are not easy to find at all. I could part it out and probably make more money but it is just to nice for that. There are other things we have done to it but I can't remember them all. If you have any questions call 832-405-9838. As always it is sold as is where is. Byer is responsible for pick up or transport but we will assist any way we can to help get it loaded.
