Preparation of the Little Red Express Truck was credited to Tom Hoover, Dick Maxwell and Dave Koffel, who combined their efforts with the product planning & performance group that was introduced by Dodge in March 1978. This led Dave to create his own present day version of the Little Red Express truck. Thistruck has a 451 CID B1/BS big block engine making760 horse power and 607 ft pounds of torque on 93 octane pump gas. Dual cooling fans, MSD 6AL blaster coil, Chryslerelectronic distributer, air motive fuel pump and regulator. Also equipped with a brand new 727 torque flite transmission with manual valve body and TCI converter. Restored original stainless steel exhaust stacks with flow master mufflers and electronic cut outs for exhaust. Turbo action shifter with reverse lock out. Rear axle is 3.23. Rust free (looks new) body with varnished oak bed and stainless steel rub rails. 26 gallon fuel cell in bed.New ball joints, tie rod ends, bushings, springs and shocks. Less than 1500 miles on this truck since complete restoration. No stone was left unturned with this show stopper.
