1967 Dodge Charger Description

I have previously listed these two cars for sale at the same time and received offers from several people to purchase both cars for their collections. As I sit here on a miserable, old Midwestern day I thought I would create a new listing for the purchase of both cars together. The starting bid is what was offered for both cars by at least three people.
The 1967 is believed to be a pilot car and has received a nut and bolt restoration to the tune of around $215,000 "invested". It has an interesting ownership history and 37,861 total miles. Options include the 426 Hemi (one of 117), orqueflite transmission, ure-Grip differential, ower steering, ew for 1967 power disc brakes, ower windows, onsole, lock, strophonic AM radio, ead rests, inted glass (all windows), imulated magnesium wheel covers (included), nd red body stripe. A detailed visual inspection was performed by Galen Govier and confirms the drivetrain is original to the car and the VIN, ender tag, nd body codes are matching numbers. Other documentation includes the original Broadcast Sheet in excellent condition, copy of the IBM card, indow sticker, opy of a dealer sales proposal from back in the day, nd a 426 Hemi-specific owner's manual. All restoration receipts have been cataloged and there are numerous photographs of the car before and during the restoration. Larry Shepard of Akron, H rebuilt the motor. Since restoration, he car has been properly stored in a climate controlled facility.
After restoring the '67 and realizing I now had a car too nice to drive, purchased the 1966. It was an extremely solid car that was in need of a mechanical refresh. Once again, sought out Larry Shepard and asked him to restore the mechanics to 100%. The 426 Hemi, ransmission, nd rear end were remanufactured. Brakes and suspension have been restored and many other worn parts, or example the heater core, eplaced. The exhaust system includes headers and electrically operate cut outs. The original, actory exhaust manifolds are available. The interior and trunk have been completely restored including seat covers, arpet, nd trim pieces and refinishing of the headliner and door panels. The electroluminescent dash and radio have been restored as well as the rotating headlight assembly. Receipts and photographs have been collected to document. Although the car is an original hemi car, he engine and transmission are not the ones the car was "born with". The body is unbelievably solid with no rust to be found, ut the paint is driver quality with some dings and a fish eye here and there. I have driven this car about 1600 miles since restoration and I feel it drives extremely well. I have $87,000 "invested" in this one.
