Early Dodge Brothers autos were not only well known as a top selling civilian vehicle but also saw a good amount of use as a military staff vehicle during WWI. Early Dodge Brothers autos were famous for their ruggedness and dependability. Early Dodge Brothers autos included many modern items for the time including 12 volt electrical system, single unit generator/starter and vacuum fuel system. Power comes from a rock solid 4 cylinder engine sent through a 3 speed manual transmission. With a top speed of 50 MPH and a cruising speed of 40 MPH this old Dodge is surprisingly usable out on the modern road. This numbers matching example came from the factory with a speedometer and the expensive option of steel spoke wheels.
