1958 Edsel Villager 6 passenger wagon
VIN# W8UT700752 BODY COLOR TRIM DATE TRANS AXLE 79C CEE BD 24G 4 B
Up for auction is a super clean 58 Edsel Villager wagon. This car was built in Louisville, spent some time out west and was purchased by a collector in Canada and I purchased it from him. The car runs drives and shifts great. The front end was rebuilt, radiator recored, engine rebuilt exhaust is recent but not new. Brakes gone thru, brand new Coker wide whites. Floors were painted with P O R 15, insulation put down and needs new carpet and cargo material. Headliner is original and nice as are the door panels and cargo side panels. Front seat has been partially re covered and looks great and I have some extra fabric that goes with the car. All the gauges work and the car is equipped with a factory compass. Odometer shows 64,585 at listing and believed to be actual. Radio does not work. All lights are working as they should including brake lights turn indicators, parking lights and interior and dash lights. Outside you have wonderful patina on old paint and the body is very solid even though the paint is showing it's age and is flat. Stainless has a couple of minor dings but better than driver quality and the front bumper is nice and the back one has just been rechromed. Factory steel rims and Edsel dog dish hubcaps. Nice glass, (the Hank's Garage sticker will be removed after sale) no rust, clean rockers and doors. The bottom of the car is very nice, with good pans, trunk pan, inner rockers and frame. The teletouch functions well but the previous owner always parked it in neutral and set the parking brake. I have been driving the car back and forth to work and the car performs wonderfully. For a wagon, no rattles. Please look at the pictures, read the description and ask questions. the terms of this auction are as follows.
