The 365 GTC/4 has been called “the civilized brother to the Daytona” due to its power steering, more civilized road manners around town and probably the best air condition system of the vintage Ferraris. Produced for only two years, only 505 examples were manufactured for the world markets. This 365 GTC/4 was original delivered to its first owner through Ferrari West Coast distributor, William Harrah’s Modern Classic Motors, Nevada, USA. It is well-known to Autosport Designs, Inc. having been owned and sold by us in the past and with complete documented ownership history by Marcel Massini. Having always been properly serviced and maintained throughout its life, this GTC/4 received a thorough major service in 2018. Anything and everything were addressed as needed including rebuilding the brake calipers using stainless steel pistons to prevent corrosion and resurfacing the rotors. After all mechanicals gone through, a full cosmetic restoration was carried out by Ambrosio Concepts. The car was disassembled, taken down to bare metal and correctly painted in its original color of Rosso Cherry. Factory correct glass was sourced from the OEM supplier in Italy. Factory correct and extremely rare “mouse hair” material was sourced to perform a restoration of the dash. All stainless and chrome pieces were polished and re-chromed. The interior was re-conditioned including headliner. Detailed attention was paid to the restoration of the Borrani wheels and Michelin XWX tires as well as fitting a factory bonnet pad. The 365 retains the correct Becker Mexico radio and factory gauges. With superb ownership and service history, this GTC/4 has been well kept and cared for through all ownerships. It will offer its new owner enjoyment with no surprises. The gearbox and clutch are excellent, the body gaps are excellent, the structure is excellent with no rust and this GTC/4 has never sustained any accident damage. One of the best driving and most usable of the 1970’s vintage Ferrari models, not to mention probably if not certainly, one of the best sounding V12 Ferrari’s of all time, this GTC/4 is complete with books, tools, factory jack, hammer, wheel tool, restoration and service documents and ownership history including Massini report.
