This is a very beautiful and wonderful driving automobile. If you always wanted one of these "mini ferrari's , this is one you want to own ! As a car enthusiasts and collector I've owned many cars but never a fiat spider . Always wanted one but they were always problematic, rusty or poorly maintained . I finally found this one and had to have it. It's the right color combination, recent new paint, top, brakes, suspensio, tire, battery, well you get the picture plus it's solid and straight and even has a very clean auto check report with only a few owners since new. Always garaged and babied by both me and it's previous owners which is why I had to have it. The paint job is fabulous ! It was taken Down to the bare metal, it was a base coat clear coat process that was then color sanded and buffed. It's extremely smooth and glossy plus they used a Porsche guards red rather than the fiat red which is more red and less orange than the original fiat red. Looks more like a Ferrari red which I lusted over when I saw it for the first time. No rust anywhere which is rare on these cars !! Unfortunatel, over the last few months my health has been deteriorating plus I'm 66 going on 67 so these old favorite toys of mine need new homes. I just can't do what I used to do anymore . I just recently sold on eBay last month my two beautiful MG's. A beautiful red 1960 Mga and a magnificent 1972 harvest gold mg midget. Both beautiful and drivable machines. Check my feedback on both those sales !! This fiat is the last antique car in my small collection and without a doubt the best driving and handling of the three. It has 4 wheel disc brake, 5 brand new tires with less than a few hundred miles on the, new timing bel, water pump and tensioner replaced in the last 500 mile, new convertible Haartz Vinl top installed in the last year plus a new paint job. In the past yea, ignition tune up, new front and rear caliper, new rotor, EDC green stuff street performance pad, and new KYB shocks front and rear. Battery replaced 8/13/15 and new clutch parts at 69,685 miles. Car has only 70821 on it currrently ! Engine is solid and tight with no smoke while idling or while shifting and driving. Transmission shifts smoothly through all 5 manual gears. Yes it's a manual transmission and that's what you really want plus you want the fuel injection which this car has !! Solid floorboard, firewall and body panel, no rust, no rus, no rus, really nice chrome, very nice and clean engine and engine compartment and beautiful boot ! Interior is in excellent conditio, very nice carpets, great seats and console. No cracks in the dashboard ( a rareity in itself ) and everything works even the clock which is unheard of with these cars plus the Heater, gauges, wipe, lights etc. All glass is original and in beautiful condition . The original alloy wheels have been redone and look great ! The front end was totally rebuilt with new control arm, ball joint, bushing, tie rod ends and centerlink and the valves adjusted to within factory spec range. The exhaust syste, muffler and resonator are in very good condition with very low miles on them .Perhaps the only minor flaw is a slight loose baffle noise in the muffler but I'm being very picky aboutp that honestly. Stops are powerful and straigh, all electrical circuits working and the Heater works exceptionally well. The previous owner installed a new Am/fm /Cd radio stereo Kenwood system. It also allows for iPod/iPhone ready USB port pandora and I heart radi, blue tooth hands free capability. I have the manual for the radio and Bluetooth which will be included in the sale plus a few sets of car keys for the vehicle . You will not be at all disappointed in how this car drives and looks . There are cheaper fiat spiders on the market and much more expensive ones as well but dollar for dolla, value for value and reliability and drivability on highways and back roads you won't find one much finer than this one for all around performance and beautiful looks and body integrity and structure. This car is well sorted and a turn key just get in and drive . It's a beautiful machin, sorry I have to let it g, but it's not meant to sit in my garage and not be driven ! Plus it comes with the new bikini dust top shown in the pictures and many bills and invoices of work previously done to give you a good history of the extensive maintenance and care this vehicle has had over the years. Plus new rubber floor mats to set off that black and beige interior which really is beautiful and well kept . Guess you can understand why I had to have this particular ca, wish I was younger and feeling better because it wouldn't be for sal, that's for sure ! It took me many many years to find an excellent example of this model .
