Here we have a 1974 Fiat Spider 124 Series, car has been unused for some time and just pulled from long term storage. Body and floors are in very nice condition indeed, panels are straight with the odd dent from items being placed on top of the car, although I feel they would PDR with ease.
The motor has not been touched since it went into storage, the motor turns over freely with a wrench on the crank pulley so presume it will just require plug wires, plugs, cap, rotor arm and all the usual items associated with a pre-start up service. The motor is the larger 1800 series being 132 cu in line Four Cylinder Twin Cam matted to a 5-speed manual transmission. Floors are in great shape as is the trunk floor, the interior looks well with nice burgundy velour style seats front and rear. The soft top has suffered over time and the rear window has popped, that being said the frame and mechanism work just as they should and you will have no problem with just a replacement item being fitted. Mag wheels were fitted as per "back in the dayâ€, the car still retains these period rims and have just been fitted with brand new tires. The starter motor is off of the car but supplied, we believe it had an issue years back and that is why the car ended up being sat and forgotten.
Please bare in mind that this car is 43 years old, it is not new in any way shape or form and does not currently run. This being said, it is a great project for someone and has been priced aggressively for a motivated sale - the cars requiring work that are running are over double the price of this car, To clear at $2950............................
