1967 Fiat Dino, No Reserve
1967 Fiat Dino Description
Here is my 1967 Fiat Dino 2.0 Coupe. Car # 135AC0001463, it comes with a Fiat Certificate of Origin and has had extensive work done over the last 4 years. It was purchased after a full glass out, to bare metal respray in a gorgeous Alfa Rossa 130 Variant D. Recent work includes: Just Dashes- CA- Restored the two pieces of the dash, the glove box and cover, and the center console, Central Texas Custom Car Shop did the body and paint. It was stripped to 100% bare metal, and all body work was completed. It is painted Alfa Romeo Rossa 130 Variant D. All of the wheels have been blasted and refinished, they are in great condition. Newer Vredestein tires, with excellent tread depth. Mileage is at 12,719kms (our assumption is that is 112K's) so roughly, 69,000 miles or so. The engine has even compression and has excellent oil pressure. Carbs have been refurbished and cleaned but they still need final adjusting. The brakes have been bleed. Tach was redone by Palo Alto Speedometer in CA. Recent electrical and tuning work at a shop outside Colfax, CA including new fuel pump and filter. It has been converted over to a GM style charging system. The Koni shocks have very few miles on them and are very good. Some of the trim was redone including the front bumper and rocker trim pieces. Most of the weatherstripping that can be replaced has been replaced. A couple more pieces are needed. There is no rust. The paint is in great shape and is top notch for a driver/car show quality car. Only minor imperfections are present. This is an early Dino, #1463, so not a Dinoplex car, just simple coil/points ignition system. The interior is in great condition and most of the original pieces have been restored and recovered. Many seals, gaskets and rubber stripping has been redone. The glass was all taken out for the body and paint, and is all resealed now. We purchased an original steering wheel and leather cover too. It is a nicer end, driver quality Dino. Not a 100 point car, but a car with fresh paint, sorted mechanicals, and a great interior. There are still things that need to be done like tuning, installing some small interior pieces, some minor electrical items, an alignment, final adjustments on the doors and trunk and it really needs to be driven. It hasnt been driven or ran much in the last few years. There are some small odds and ends that are included with the car like some extra parts and hardware. It has a clean Texas title.
