1987 Fiat 126p 650E – Original Condition Garage Find from Germany

All original, dove grey Fiat 126p, imported from Germany.

This model has the old school black vinyl interior with the low back seats and old school dashboard gauges. More desirable than the next generation interior.

This Fiat was manufactured in Poland, for the German market and sold new in Germany. Thus the rare dove grey colour. It was owned by a little old lady, Anita, in Mannheim who kept it in her garage and used it only for local trips.

Thus, the low mileage of only 45,000 km (27,000 miles), original miles.

After that, the car was sold to 2 other owners in 1995, who intended on restoring it, but never got around to it, always being garage kept.

The car really does not need restoring as it is in very good original condition and can be driven as it is.

It is very solid with only a bit of very minor surface rust as seen in photos.Everything is incredibly solid and rust free. Undercarriage and Rockers are all solid with no rust, no filler, no accidents.

It has original paint in good condition.The original owner had some pink polka dots on it, which the last owner removed, but you can still see some evidence of them when you look closely.

This car shares many of its parts with the Fiat 500, thus parts are still easy to find.

This engine is the bigger 650E engine with a bit more horsepower, although it is still a 2 cylinder.

The wheel wells have been rolled somewhat for the larger rims and new tires.Original wheels and tires are included.

The car has also been lowered a bit using the Fiat lowering kit designed for these cars.

New Muffler, new exhaust pipes, gaskets, Fuel lines / Pump / filter, New plugs / points / distributor, new engine mount, new tires.

All original good glass, including original windshield.

This Fiat is a lovable Italian Classic, that really turns heads.Always the centre of attention at the Café, at Car Shows, or wherever you go. It has even been used for photo shoots, as seen in the add cover photo.

Registered and Insured in Calgary, Canada, imported and registered as a Canadian Car. German Registration expired Oct 2017, German Safety Inspection expired May 2019.
